#ColdCalling #SMBs #BusinessTips
Hey everyone! 👋 So, I’ve been trying my hand at cold calling local businesses to offer website services, but I’m hitting a wall of “No”s. I’ve tweaked my pitch, but it doesn’t seem to be working. Any advice on how I can improve my approach?
Here are a few things I’ve been considering:
– Maybe my tone is coming off too salesy? 🤔
– Could I be focusing too much on the price rather than the value I can bring to their business?
– Should I personalize my pitch more to show that I understand their specific needs?
Any thoughts or tips on how I can make my cold calling pitch more effective? I’d love to hear your insights! 😊
Your script is okay. But it needs work.
-Don’t ask them how they are.
-Don’t as for 39 seconds to give them an amazing deal
-Don’t tell them it’s the summer before college
1. Hi. I’m (name) do you have just a minute?
2. I saw you have a wonderful business. I’ve driven past/ been in many times. (Flatter them)
3. When I tried to find you online I couldn’t find a site.
4. Are you the right person to talk with about that?
5. Okay well I know I’ve interrupted. If you have some time later today or tomorrow, I’d like to talk when it’s not an interruption. I think your business would benefit from a great website for these reasons.
6. Does am or pm work better?
7. Bye. Talk soon.
