Petty revenge of 8 year old me took a bigger turn that the one I expected. 😈
When I was 8 years old, in my grade was another girl who was not liked by many peers. She was mean and stuck up, and she would make some mean spirited pranks on others. I was regularly on bad terms with her.
## The Mean Girl Prank
Once, I got very sick with a respiratory illness and needed a inhaler and rest, when allowed back to school, I was excuse from gym class and had my inhaler with me. At the end of the day, the girl took my inhaler and told me she’ll give it back if I ran 5 times around the football field, which I did. I ended up crying as I couldn’t breath properly. My mom called her mom to tell her about the prank and she got grounded but it wasn’t enough for me and decided to go for an indirect vengeance.
## The Revenge Plot
This girl loved make up, she would steal it from others girls and say she found it around. I had a set of lipgloss I was given for my birthday, but wasn’t allowed to used it. I took the pink one and emptied half of it. I refilled it with a bright pink nail polish, one that was very hard to get off and usually left the nails tainted for many days. I also put some glue droops in it, and mixed it all together.
## The Unexpected Turn
Next day, I put the lipgloss next to the girl’s backpack when no one was looking. She found it, claimed it was hers as she found it on the floor and put it on her lips. Now, my evil childish plan was that the lipgloss wouldn’t come off easily and that she’ll be scolded by teachers and her mom, as the schools had a no makeup policy. But she got her lips stuck together as we were quite in an hour long class and she was sitting in the back. At the end of the class she started to freak out and cry with her mouth shut close. The teacher send her to the nurse who used alcohol and some nail remover in a cotton (I never understood what was she thinking) to removed the lipgloss, which worked but left her lips badly cracked, terrible red and sore.
For the next few weeks she had problems with her lips as she still tried to have chips and salty snacks, which caused a lot of pain, and she was upset about the look of her mouth. To top it all, she was scolded for using the lipgloss at school.
No one tracked the lipgloss back to me, it was left as someone just lost a toxic and cheap lipstick and the girl just took it. The rules became more strict about not bringing makeup to school.
### A Little Insight
Given the unexpected turn of events, I understand that my actions were not right and could have caused serious harm to the girl. It was a childish and immature way to seek revenge. As a child, I was obsessed with experiments and mixing things as in chemistry. I used to mix my mom’s expensive perfumes together hoping to come up with the ultimate perfume, could mix every soda and juice to find out the taste, mixed my mom’s creams, every single paint I had, so the idea to mix makeup came at once. The idea of the bright pink nail polish was that it would give the lipgloss a color that could catch others attention and the glue was so it could remain longer on the lips and not be removed by paper so the teachers could catch her red handed.
In conclusion, the petty revenge I sought as an 8 year old took an unexpected and much bigger turn than I had anticipated. It was a learning experience for me, and looking back, I can see the error in my ways. Revenge is never the answer, and it’s important to approach situations with a level head and empathy, rather than seeking retaliation.
Did she go on stealing things afterwards?
Thank you for the best laugh I’ve had in a couple of days. Way to seal off her nasty and mean mouth.
Forget ‘wash your mouth out with soap’ you went ‘glue her damn lips together!’
😅
Was she still stuck up?
As they say “ it’s either a blessing or a lesson”! This had to be a lesson for her.
She couldn’t rat on you as her lips were sealed
At least it shut her up for a bit
Nice revenge on the little devil
I was hoping you would say that the cotton stuck to her lips!
I was thinking that you are now married to her as the twist.
That’s hilarious. Any idea how this girls life turned out?
I’m so glad I didn’t do this. No achievement following it would be worth a damn!
I love this one! It turned out better than I’d hoped
RESPECT
This one actually really made me laugh 😂. Thanks for sharing 💄
I had a friend when I was about that age who would magically have things “fall into her bag” when she would spend the night at our houses. Cassette tapes (I’m old), necklaces, clothing items, etc. We got to a point that when we would spend the night at her house, we would steal it all back for the rightful owners. I wonder what happened to her. Hope she grew out of it.
This made me think of the ONLY time I tried to go into a Limited Too, I went to sample their makeup and accidentally adhered nail polish to my lips like this girl 😭 Thankfully I noticed before it dried and got it all off, but that experience seriously traumatized me enough to contribute to my tomboyishness/not wearing makeup daily like my friends
Oh, that’s awesome! Karma served up beautifully- it was only dangerous to a thief. I love it!
Cunning
> At the end of the class she started to freak out and cry with her mouth shut close
I can’t breathe. I’m dying here🤣🤣🤣
What good will a phone call do you, little girl, if you are unable to … speak?
Was it super glue you used?
Guess you didn’t really need the inhaler if you ran 5 laps…
Make-up at EIGHT YEARS OLD????!!!
But rather funny revenge, I must say.
That little girl? Belinda Carlyle.
Ha. had i been in your class i would have been laughing my ass off. karma baby, karma
I love how your simple plan was Mawhaha – enjoy red lips and a row! 😂 This turned out better than I could imagine. FAFO.
> the girl took my inhaler and told me she’ll give it back if I ran 5 times around the football field
This isn’t a prank, this is bullying
Oh I was starting to laugh when you said cotton cuz I imagined her lips with glued cotton bits …. Still laughing
Fake.
That’s good one!!
This is amazing! The absolute ingenuity of your 8yo self to devise such a concoction and perfectly implement the plan! What do you do now, did your skills go to good use?!
But did the classmates laugh at her?
Never understood parents who buy their kids nice gifts that they either can’t use or aren’t allowed to use.
Anyway, nice revenge work, OP. Simple yet effective!
