200k a year? Yes 2.2m
Yes fully remote
Yes I can live in any country
56 hours a week usually
14 years of experience
Industry: business consulting
Regrets: not starting sooner
Rejoices: the freedom I have. Not tied to a boss or needing to take any client.
I sold my business, but my first year was $250K net and last (fifth) was $800K with an aviation tech company.
Remote? No, very fixed to our offices where we pre-assembled most of the product before shipping it to client sites. My sales director was remote though.
Hours? First year about 80, last couple years close to 40.
Years experience? 13 in both software and aviation when I started.
Industry? Aviation technology.
Regrets? Only partial, from selling it when the company was facing possible explosive growth from a new government contract. I had put in 12 years part-time developing the system and five years full-time with the company itself and was just burned out and didn’t want to go all-in to fulfill the contract if we won. Instead I sold it to the much bigger company I was partnered with on the proposal for enough to retire on. They didn’t win the contract but continued to grow it over another five years. I was happily retired early but wondered if I could have made even more if I went those additional years.
500k a year after taxes. Fully remote.
Hours – I used to work about 15 hours a week and idle my time away on vacations and fun. Started a company when I was 20, and have close to 20 years experience now.
Industry – online content and media
Biggest joys – had a lot of fun and have a lot of memories.
Regrets – I wish I worked more purposefully. After years of taking it easy, you lose your purpose and feel lost. I’m working on a new project and working 50 hours a week, it’s stressful and tiring, but I feel alive and driven.
Two things I’ve learned – Life is meaningless and empty without purpose. You will aways have new wants and desires that are just out of your reach.
Right here 🙋🏻♂️.
I am fully remote, have to live in the USA, but can take
30 days outside of the country.
Ballpark 35. Some weeks less, some more
10 years of experience and 4 years while working in school
Payments. Think Stripe or Square, but I design those systems for Saas companies.
I also sign up people to take credit cards. I do that by
Going after businesses that cant work with Stripe or whoever else, or lowering their rates so its cheaper.
If you need processing and want to save some money let me know!
Regrets..really none, my career path is interesting and constantly evolving which keeps it interesting and its allowed me the freedom so kinda live the life I want.
I’m on track to do $190k this year in net profit.
I work out of my house and keep inventory in a guest room. So I guess I’m remote but for shipping reasons I need to stay in the US.
I work about 2 hours a day in my office but I am on my phone answering emails a lot.
3 years experience
Apparel industry… Think sunglasses, cheap inventory, easy to ship, great profit margins.
Regret selling something with so many options, means more inventory.
This sub is full of it, ain’t it? I don’t think there are busy millionaires in here bragging about their accomplishments. Just a thought 🤔
Wondering if anyone achieved this goal from starting a YouTube channel from scratch?
I make around 100.000-130.000$ monthly right now. So it’s around 1.5 million annually.
I don’t work in its conventional sense of word. But I’m always in touch with my employees and am ready to make decisions.
The industry is law.
This amount I make via my business and passive income so it’s 100.000-130.000 from different sources.
Around 15 years ago I didn’t have any sources of passive income but my business would generate up to 500.000$ monthly.
It didn’t last long unfortunately.
No regrets obviously. Only I wish I would’ve been more proactive and expanded my business 15 years ago. The now it could’ve been around 500.000$ monthly.
But I’m nearly 50 now and more than satisfied with what I have. Also my passive income takes a lot of my shoulders.
I started digital marketing 1.5 months ago! I started with a done for you digital marketing course that teaches you everything you need to know to be successful in selling digital products online. The best part is you can resell the course for 100% profit. I promote it on my faceless Instagram by posting a few reels a day and have made $2700 my first 1.5 months. I don’t know if you are interested in doing this cs it’s the perfect thing to do alongside your 9-5 bc you can do it from your phone! I do it alongside my 9-5.

off topic but this is like the 5th time I’ve seen you post something like this on some of the subs I follow, i do appreciate it though. Always insightful to look into what the comments have to say
going to do 500k+ pre tax this year.
I am fully remote but live in my home country. I don’t think my wife would live full time anywhere but the US but we are doing some traveling while working for about a month this year.
30-50 depending on the week. Spread out across different times a day and sometimes focused around my call schedule.
10 years of experience in the advertising industry for B2B SaaS.
No regrets. I live a fulfilling life with a wonderful partner.
Really proud of the business I have built. It was a goal of mine for so long and I finally acheived it.
Presently on track to make 2.8 m.
Fully remote – mostly automated , any country and infinitely replenishing
I log in to check Data and issue payments
Digital management / brand development
I make $210k, which comes out to less in euros.
Live in the Netherlands, currently. After this last winter though considering other options. Company is headquartered in Miami.
7 years of experience in this particular field. Work about 5-8 hours a day. Take around 3-4 months off every year.
I’m probably extremely lucky, tbh. The worst part about it is either the time zones or the fact that I have to stare at a computer screen 100% of the day.
“Regret selling something with so many options” is definitely something I learned the hard way and that I don’t feel enough people talk about.
I make ~$350k a year, work remotely at big tech on the east coast in the suburbs, and work roughly 40-45 hours a week. I have 11 years of experience, work in digital product design.
Edit: I just read the sub-title. I’m not an entrepreneur to be clear. Maybe one day though!
hard to quantify exactly how much I am making right now as a good portion is now in equity that moves up and down, but likely 300k this year with 150k of it as traditional income and 150k as equity. Would like to transition to entirely equity eventually and just move money around to make more of it.
work 40 hours a week on three businesses fully remote
content creation, own a small agency, and real estate
80% of the work is in he content creation side
I’m a sm content producer. I manage 8 YouTube channels with over 600K subs. Also, work with a few brands. (Mainly in the fashion Industry)
Last year profited around $240K. Net Income was 530K.
I still work almost 12 hours a day and I have a small team.
People ask “How long would I last working 12 hours?”
IDK. I just enjoy everything…
Fully remote, started 5 years ago.
Regrets – everything happens for good!
Work from home, employed a frat brother and 2 college friends.
Do over $250K.
Industry: Credit repair, real estate, and helping people fund their ideas.
Lots of Zoom, travel when I want to get away but not necessary.
Would LOVE to link or partner with some of you..
Do about 50 hrs a week. Long-LONG days M-W, Th-Sat as needed. Still have time to be PTA dad, work out daily, eat out with wife, and watch XMen 97.
Regret: Was a one man show since 2008. Didn’t get help until LAST year. Now I see a path to partner with other biz owners, open up some more time, and eventually sell. Was burnt out unnecessarily and I hate that I didn’t get help sooner. Could have been retired with wealth.
Rejoice: Went to school to be a professor. Consulting is teaching with monetized lesson plans to me. I LOVE it and I feel lucky because my teacher friends don’t have the time/money. I wish they did, though.
Online education and media business. We have a video studio in an office complex 10 minutes from my house. I travel a lot for fun and industry events.
I work 40-50 hours per week.
I have 20 years industry experience. No regrets– I’m doing exactly what I want to be doing.
Reading all these people grind out 200k and feeling proud of my fellow entrepreneur only to have a YouTube short of some 20 year old girl that does only fans come up on my feed who “earns” that…in 3 months.
1:hell no
2:no
3:every waking hour
4: 5
6: service
7:in too deep now
I used to live abroad and work remote but I ended up just moving back to my home full time. Perhaps it sounds crazy but even when you sit on the same beach in Thailand every day it gets old after a while. How many hours of “work”? Zero. That’s what being a real business owner means. Being able to walk away from what you own and it still manage itself. Experience? I was brought up around business owners. Seen my mom and dad work as employees while much of my other family members had a business. Once my parents purchased into a nursing home things changed. So I’ve been around it since I was a child. Regret? Not focusing on finding people to do the work for me sooner. So many times I see people really just being self employed.. or “owning” a job. If you can hire a manager and employees.. and profit even just $10,000 a year.. I find it better than working with a company you own for $80,000 a year.
Yes living in Bangkok now. Working about 4 hours a day, 8 years in dropshipping/ecommerce. Lots of regrets, bad business partnerships, could be way further ahead than I am now, but business is thriving now and I’m happy with where I’m heading.
I’ve been lucky to make that a few times over in a year. Live in Vancouver BC Canada. Crazy expensive but don’t want to leave. I guess I can live anywhere in the world. Not sure if anyone feels this but I’m going through a phase of not regret, but guilt. Guilt of doing so well. Especially when I see so many regular hard working citizens struggle around me. I work less than 15 hrs a week. No regrets but I do wish the world was more fair and I’m hoping to not be stuck in this cloud of guilt.
