#Tesla #ElonMusk #Politics #Buyers #ElectricCars
Hey everyone! 🚗💡
I came across an interesting article about how Elon Musk’s politics may be affecting the decision of some buyers when it comes to purchasing a Tesla. Have you guys noticed any impact on the company due to this? Let’s discuss!
Here are some possible solutions that could benefit both Tesla and its customers:
– Encouraging open dialogue and communication between Elon Musk and customers
– Focusing on the quality and sustainability of Tesla vehicles rather than personal beliefs
– Providing clear information about the company’s stance on social and political issues
What do you guys think? Share your thoughts and let’s have a productive conversation! 💬🌟
I don’t care for his politics, but his arrogance and attention-whoring does it for me. I won’t be buying a car from an obscenely rich, spoiled man-baby when there are many alternatives. Add to that, I’ve heard too many horror stories from Tesla owners regarding build quality and computer malfunctions.
“May be” ? For sure
Raises Hand… Like me.
I was about to pull the trigger on a model Y but went with a rav4 hybrid instead. Figured a couldn’t trust something with Musk’s name on it. And looking at all the cybertruck issues I feel I made a good decision
“May” be?! I personally know several people that decided not to buy a Tesla because of him. No “may” about it… the man is toxic for his brands.
Water is wet
Well as a consumer, you vote with your dollar. I won’t be spending any money with one of his companies.

I literally bought a non Tesla EV because he’s a twat and the build quality is shit.
I wouldn’t even buy a used Tesla because I know I’d eventually have to buy OEM parts for the thing. And I actually have some reservations about buying any kind of electric car because all the chargers I ever see are Tesla owned.
I’m at the point, when people buy one, I’ll ask why support such an awful human being?
EV’s in general are pushing people away from EV’s. The latest data is 50% of all people who purchase EV’s revert back to gas with their next car.
only “some”?
Well duh, lol.
If this means I can pick up a used tesla for cheaper…
Absolutely. I would have bought one already but I despise the man so don’t want to support the brand.
That and the lack of CarPlay
Money can buy a lot of things, but respect isn’t one of them.
The company has such promise.
His shitty cars are pushing me away from them. Waiting on toyotas.
I sure fucking hope so
Duh.
“May be”? Of course they fucking are.
That, and they aren’t built like premium cars and they depreciate in value so fast.
I’ll never buy a Tesla and I could buy one today if I wanted. The man is a fascist, imperialist, racist piece of shit.
we leased a model y, but we didn’t want to because of musk. we hated to support him. we did a lease instead of a purchase so other manufacturers could catch up, and we will buy a different brand after the 3 years
May? 100% are
It’s a toxic combination of politics, attitude (arrogance/free speech for me not you), business model (overhyping/underdelivering)
The normal price to pay when you aren’t shilling for Democrats.
That’s what happens when your brand is intertwined with one guy.
Does anyone driving a Chevy give a shit who their CEO is? No, because Chevy is bigger than just one guy
Am I the only one who doesn’t need everyone to be perfectly ideologically aligned with me to do business?
It’s a car. Pick the best one for you.
No shit?
On two occasions I’ve spotted Teslas with a bumper sticker that says “I bought it before we knew how awful he is.”
No shit. I was quite interested in buying one before he revealed who he really was.
Also, after reading the recent Musk biography by Isaacson, I have even less trust in those cars rolling off of the Tesla factory floors.
I’ll be getting a similarly priced car not sold by a guy who is proudly and boisterously a jerk (to use a nice word).
Lol I sold cars for 5 yrs and Tesla’s always flew off the lot. Most of the buyers were lefties. This is just more anti musk circle jerk
I’m looking to replace my twelve year old car this year and have been test driving a ton of EVs. The Tesla 3 and Y are right in my wheelhouse for the kind of car I am looking at buying. The musk’s decisions over the last few years have left me perplexed as to what direction he is taking the brand. His pursuit of “full self driving” cars and his insistence on calling them “full self driving” cars is more and more annoying each and every year. The brand is also constantly failing to deliver on their promises, missing on putting out features and vehicles that were a year or two away for the last five years. I just can’t fathom buying a car from them regardless of musk’s shitty political views.
Ford was a literal supporter of the American Nazis and VW, Porsche and Mercedes were all elbow deep with the OG Nazis and I’m still thinking about buying one of their EVs. This is all to say, that every shitty political views can be overlooked if the product your selling is good enough.
