🌟 “The longer you live, the more you realize friends aren’t forever. It’s a sad truth that many of us have experienced at some point in our lives. However, it’s important to understand that friendships come and go, and that’s okay.”
In a world where social media connects us to hundreds, if not thousands of people, it’s easy to confuse the quantity of friends with the quality of friendships. But in reality, true friendships are built on trust, loyalty, and genuine connection. They might not last forever, but they leave a lasting impact on our lives.
Here are some tips on how to navigate the ups and downs of friendships, and how to cherish the ones that truly matter:
## Appreciate the present moment
– 🌸 Focus on enjoying the time you spend with your friends, rather than worrying about the future.
– 🌸 Live in the present and make the most of the memories you create together.
## Embrace change
– 🌸 Understand that people grow and change, and so do friendships.
– 🌸 Embrace the evolution of your relationships and appreciate the journey you’ve been on together.
## Communicate openly
– 🌸 Honest communication is key to maintaining strong friendships.
– 🌸 Don’t be afraid to express your feelings and listen to what your friends have to say.
## Quality over quantity
– 🌸 It’s better to have a few close friends who you can rely on, rather than a large circle of acquaintances.
– 🌸 Invest time and effort into nurturing the friendships that truly matter to you.
In conclusion, friends may come and go, but the memories and connections we make along the way are what truly matter. So cherish the moments you have with your friends, and don’t be afraid to let go of relationships that no longer serve you. Remember, it’s better to have a few true friends than a sea of fake ones.

The longer you live the more you realise nothing is forever
I just want someone with a sense of humour, damn it. You don’t have to have my back, I damn sure don’t have yours. The prerequisites for friendship with some people are unreasonable.
Yes they are. Real friends are friends *forever*. It’s just that when you realize you’re living eternally, then millennia may pass between moments spent together.
Yeah they’re dropping like flies these days 😞
100% agree. I’ve always used to hang out with the same friends, but it became boring after a few centuries. Now, thanks to apps such as FaceNight, Biiter( now called Cross), SnapNeck, Fiender etc… it’s not really a problem anymore.
this is so sad… im 61
Nothing is forever. Not even true love. One of you will die and leave the other alone.
Most of them, yes, but there are often a handful that journey with you your whole life.
I envy people who thought this even as a kid
You never got put in a different class than your best friend from the year before and you both made new friends?
You guys got friends?
“Long after the thrill, of living is gone”
When I was a kid and watched a Stand By Me, I could not understand the life of me how four friends who were so close and had such a profound experience together could just drift apart in a few short years. As an adult I understand it all too well, and it really makes me sad.
Because the longer you live, the more of them you outlive
