Subnautica
Maybe the long dark and tell me why
The Long Dark
What Remains Of Edith Finch
Both are good.
The long dark and subnautica are nothing like Firewatch. Ignore those replies
Edith Finch
Gone Home
Everybody’s gone to the rapture
Road 96
Tacoma
If you haven’t, try the Life is Strange games. They aren’t exactly like Firewatch, but do fall into the great art style and story rich category
Try outer wilds
Virginia
The Invincible is pretty much firewatch in space.
Maybe the gane Night In The Woods
Kentucky Route Zero
To The Moon
Dear Esther
The Suicide of Rachel Foster
Stanley Parable maybe. It’s light on story, but its game design is really brilliant.
I’ve heard good things about Forgotten City, but haven’t had a chance to play it myself.
* Tell Me Why
* The Wolf Among Us
* Before Your Eyes
* Tacoma
If you’re willing to go with a less visually impressive game, then The Stanley Parable is good.
My favorite one is not listed here yet:
Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture
Return of the Obra Dinn
I think these are fondly called Walking Simulators.
Observation is a neat little floating simulator where you control a space stations AI as you try to rescue an astronaut. It gets mildly spooky.
Outer Wilds
Life is Strange
INFRA
Jusant, it’s more a climbing simulator but it’s very relaxing and mysterious.
Superliminal ..
Layers Of Fear is a really good walking simulator!
Titan Station
The park is very similar, your “weapon” is calling out for someone. It’s a great game, the visuals look great and I loved the story. It’s a little short but I recommend, it does have its scary moments I should say
Recently the game called “The invincible” came out. Very similar to firewatch and scratches that itch really well, the setting is more sci-fi nut it makes it even more interesting
Oxenfree
Journey
Close to the sun
Life is strange
The Stanley parable
To the moon
Tacoma
Call to the sea
Besides Outer Wilds, I don’t have a game to recommend. However, I do have a [funny video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_xW-SqyJAU) about Fire Watch.
I didn’t see anyone mention this game yet, but Under the Waves. Has a similar premise to Firewatch but living in a facility under water.
Has an interesting story, plus some fun underwater mechanics piloting an underwater craft and swimming around.

Also The Invincible. Based on an old Polish book, it has walking sim vibes with a sci-fi, atom punk style. Your choices affect the ending.
I really enjoyed both of these! Hope you find a new game you like!
Gone Vroom
Myst
Season: A Letter to the Future
Oxenfree
