How are you personally going to solve the internet problem
Best of luck my friend. You are smarter than the average joe. You will save tons of money. I lived in a 32 foot camper for years while I cleaned and built my own house. I gamed the entire time and it never was a problem. It was actually a very close time for the entire family and the kids talk about all the places we lived all the time. As for your hookup? I would say that all depends on which internet service you go with. But most of the newer equipment is very nice and completely wireless.
Husband and I live in a destination trailer and game on PC and console. We are lucky to have a relatively large space.
I sure hope your ability to save to get out of the RV outpaces real estate growth. Remember that your RV/camper won’t be viewed as anything more than a depreciating asset by financial institutions.
You’ll need to manage the septic tanks, secure a water supply, you’ll find heating an RV/camper uses a ton of electricity and/or fuel since they typically aren’t insulated for inclement weather.
Accept you and your family are going to be living in cramped quarters and furnish accordingly. Worry less about wall mounting things and more about getting into a residence someone with a truck can’t steal while you’re at work.
Steam Deck is pretty handy
We purchased a new one recently for my mother in law, and it was garbage.
Fit and finish was trash, and for any warranty work you have to take it in each time.
Please buy used from a knowledgeable owner, they will have fixed any issues.
Hey man I just have to say I have Starlink Internet at my house. Pretty sure it’s an option for RV’s but not sure if you get the same quality of service.I can still play competitive online games and compete. I have less than 100 ping in almost every game. There’s games I have like 40 ping to which is lower than my 5mbps Internet that’s hardwired to my house. It’s been life changing for me haha.
