Do you ever feel like you’re surrounded by humanoid aliens from LinkedIn in your workplace? 🛸👽 It’s like they’ve all been programmed to speak in corporate jargon and email templates. 🤖
I can’t be the only one who finds it exhausting to decipher messages filled with terms like “circling back” and “touching base.” 🤯 It feels so fake and insincere, like everyone is just trying to climb the corporate ladder by playing the game. 🎮
But fear not, fellow Earthlings! There may be a solution to this alien invasion of corporate-speak. Here’s a thought on how to navigate this LinkedIn-laden landscape:
– Encourage transparent and direct communication within your team 🗣️
– Lead by example by using clear and concise language in your own messages 💬
– Consider suggesting a more casual and straightforward communication style in team meetings or discussions 🤝
Let’s work together to bring some humanity back into our workplace interactions and leave the LinkedIn aliens behind. Who’s with me? 🚀🌎 #HumanizeWorkplaceCommunication #CutTheCorporateJargon #AuthenticityFTW
I have a friend who didn’t know she was suppose to write emails like this and she had disciplinary action, and now she is of the hivemind and copies their style.
Let’s touch base.
Seriously you need to try the corporate bs generator so that you can authoritatively grow open-source core competencies:

I hate this shit! JUST TALK NORMAL! All this corporate speak is passive aggressive.
Let’s capture all this in our touch base starting Q3. Scott, please advise.
Corporate lingo is a nightmare
One time someone told me to circle back and I said “can we circle back now?” 😭😭
I always refer to them as automatons. They all act the same, dress the same, talk the same (with the fake deep voice so they sound older).
A lot of that sucks, but here’s my defense of the word “bandwidth”. What is the alternative, “I don’t have enough time?”. That makes it sound like you’re just poor at time management, something you can solve if you were better at your job. “Bandwidth” implies there are other factors outside of your control (a lack those mysterious and nebulous “resources”) that keep you from taking on that extra busywork. It’s a CYA thing, but it does sound better.
Other than that, I agree with you. “Circle back” can circle back to fuck itself in its own ass.
