Are you tired of blending in with the crowd and seeing minimal results in your business? 🙅♂️ Are you looking for ways to shake things up and make a real impact in your industry? 💥 If so, you’re not alone. Many individuals are facing the same challenge of trying to stand out from the competition and truly thrive in their business ventures.
##Identifying the Problem:
In a saturated market where everyone is doing the same thing, it can be challenging to capture the attention of potential customers. 🤷♀️ Your products or services may be top-notch, but without a unique selling point, you may struggle to attract new business. This is where the importance of doing things differently comes into play.
##The Solution:
###1. Embrace Creativity:
Think outside the box and don’t be afraid to try new things. 🎨 Whether it’s redesigning your website, experimenting with unconventional sales techniques, or revamping your marketing strategies, embracing creativity can set you apart from the competition.
###2. Tell Your Story:
Share your journey, your passion, and your values with your audience. 📚 By humanizing your brand and allowing customers to connect with your story, you create a deeper relationship that goes beyond a simple transaction.
###3. Engage Your Audience:
Interact with your customers on a personal level and show genuine interest in their needs and preferences. 💬 By building a strong rapport with your audience, you can foster loyalty and turn one-time buyers into repeat customers.
##Real-life Examples:
###1. Airbnb:
Airbnb disrupted the hospitality industry by offering a unique alternative to traditional hotels. 🏡 By allowing individuals to rent out their homes to travelers, Airbnb created a new standard in accommodation options.
###2. Dollar Shave Club:
Dollar Shave Club revolutionized the subscription-based razor industry by offering high-quality razors at affordable prices. 💈 Their quirky marketing campaigns and direct-to-consumer model set them apart from established brands.
In conclusion, doing things differently can lead to great success in your business. 💰 By stepping out of your comfort zone and taking risks, you can attract new customers, build brand recognition, and ultimately, achieve financial prosperity. So, are you ready to make a change and stand out from the crowd? 🔥 #BeBoldAndDifferent
woo
It can also make you poor. It’s not about being different but about being effective.
Real world examples – Uber instead of taxis, Airbnb instead of hotels.
Yes definitely agree, think steve jobs and apple
Sure. Make sales and set goals such as $15k/month and you will find out soon enough what you need to do to be different. It ofcourse helps to have a useful, beneficial service or product. Here I learned the hard way people saw value in our family and property so that makes us work extra on top of our normal job and forcing to do things in a totally different way + maintaining strict discipline. What does ´being rich´ means for you? When we were still at home together as a simple farmers family of 5: mom, dad, 3 kids, some cows, chicken and almond trees, we had a very happy and inexpensive lifestyle. max worth $20k. It´s mindblowing people paid €90k deposit and have paid €200k so far in order ´to have us´ and from time to time people are informing us Dutch people searching for our farmland and paying bribes in the mountains. So you can be ´rich´ but to be honest I find this very sad, extremely poor behavior. Like what are you missing that you want to pay for?
Survivor bias. Those guys who built coffee enema bidets went bankrupt!

Strongly disagree.
If you came up with something really, really original, there’s a risk there’s simply no demand for it. So, you will have to create that demand yourself before you can sell the idea to the users.
Most people are quite set in their ways. They don’t fall in love easily with innovative products. Yes, even if they solve their problems better. You have to explain first how the new thing works and why users need it.
But market education is expensive and time-consuming. You’re going to waste a lot of resources just explaining to people why they need your new product. This can slow down your growth and burn through your budget.
Even worse, people also might not be ready for your super new product yet. Even if they’ll be hyped for it in a few years. Smartphones existed before the iPhone – it’s just no one used them.
I got a job this way.
Doing things differently definitely kills the competition.
it could go either way
A colleague of mine once told me that disruption is key especially to an already stable industry. Take AirBnB as an example, they disrupted the already existing hospitality industry by introducing unique, personalize stay in local homes rather than the traditional hotels. But like they say every pro has a con, as disruption of the market could also land you in the gutters.
I think being different can work but it has to still be relevant/appropriate to that industry. For example, PG tips changing their teabag shape to a pyramid to enhance the brewing process.
Be honest. Are you under the age of 12?
