Look up the Big Mac index
McDonald’s is nuts now. The app generally sucks for deals too.
At least the ketchup is free
I was shocked last summer when a small McFlurry was $6. No thanks.
If you make minimal wage, try not to eat outside,
At least they still have $1 ice coffee, or ice cream in the summer, and the breakfast is still reasonable.
That’s why I love ’em A&W coupons
Use 4000 points for a large fries, it’s the best. Also, when I get combo deals I up size the fries to a large for a decent price.
Only thing I get is the $1 ice cream cone.
The fries have a shit ton of calories too, take the burger only.
Import McDonald’s
Use the app to collect points. They add up fairly quickly. It feels like I’m getting a meal or two free every week.

In Japan it’s less than $3.20 !
For $6 you can buy about 1-2kg of fries at the grocery store. Go crazy.
Fast food is not longer worth it. Some sit down places are almost the same price and the food quality is much better
Make better nutritional choices
I don’t go to McDonald’s anymore. Mainly because she f the prices. The only thing it ever had going for it was it was cheap eats. The food has always been meh. Back in the day when a combo was 3.99. Now it’s over 15. Why? I can’t fathom how people still go because it’s always busy. What am I missing?
Yeah it’s nuts. It still takes $30 to $40 to feed a family of 4, and that’s when applying a deal and not buying drinks.
What part of Canada ?
for me, before tax:
Small 2.49
Medium 4.39
Large 4.79
I’m still not happy about the crazy increases the last few years.
OMFG! … i can’t afford it.
I am too poor for McDonald’s now.
Thank god for $1.50 hotdog at Costco.
I just ordered a 10 piece nugget meal, it was $16.83!! I was surprised.
Invest in an airfryer and deep freeze.
I went to McDonalds a few days ago. 6 chicken nuggets were over $7. On top of that, the nuggets were much smaller and thinner than the ones I remember eating as a child. Not worth going there anymore in my opinion
When i got drunk at the bars like 12-13 years ago, i used to get 2 double cheeseburgers and a jr chicken and it was like $4 something.
Two double cheeseburgers with a jr chicken is now $13 where i live. Its so stupid.
Well McDonald’s clearly still seems to be moving considerable volume even with the increased prices.
Cause most people frankly don’t care enough to not go there. They love their Big Mac and the difference between $5 and $8 is just $3.
Popeyes and KFC both have insane prices, yet are still wildly popular as few have been able to match their products.
As a silver living, The high prices of fast food give more opportunities for small businesses to exist.
Can’t really succeed as a small burger joint when the price is rock bottom.
The only way to make prices fall is to actually vote with your wallet collectivity.
Fries used to be cheaper than salad. Now I can get a giant organic salad box from Walmart for $8 good for at least 4 salads while fries are $6. Probably good for my health anyway.
McDonald’s isn’t worth the money. I’d love to see their food sales data
You don’t buy Mcdonalds you rent it.
Go to your local diners and get takeout burgers there. You’ll be filled more and help out someone who actually needs the business
Dude we went to buy veggies and fruits.
4 ambrosia apples
4 pears
2 packs of strawberries (2.98 each delicious btw)
Small sack of potatoes 10 lbs
Onions
Egg plant (singular)
40 bucks. Wtf.
