What is the position and salary?
What city?
First of all, congratulations! I’m happy for you that you’ve gotten a foothold in the IT field. Just like you, I started this week as a Helpdesk/IT Support specialist. It’s my third workday, and I’m already starting to feel comfortable and getting to know the systems a bit better. This is partly because I WANT to learn, and I try to take as many notes as possible.
I wish you all the best. Let’s have a great journey together! 🙂
Congrats! What’s the pay like? Did you have a degree in a related IT field or any certifications?
Congrats on your new position!! I hope it’s everything you want & more! 🙂
Do you have any tips for how you sealed the deal in your final round of interviews?
Congratulations! Absorb as much knowledge as you can and enjoy the start of your new career.
I was in your shoes a little over 26 years ago. All these years later, still in IT and enjoy coming to work almost (lol) every single day. Congrats, on what I hope is a very rewarding journey for you! 🙂
Congrats! As someone who has been applying to mostly entry level IT positions for 2 full months like its a full time job, do you have any advice? I read that you have a bachelors in IT and are working towards A+ cert, I am also in a somewhat similar position where I will be getting my bachelors but in Math with a concentration in CS in a couple months and also currently working towards A+ cert so I thought you may have some advice that worked well for you. Thanks in advance!
Congrats! Well done. I remember my first IT job years ago and how much stuff gets learned in the 1st year. Everyday is a learning experience!
