🍕 Ever had a week wasted thinking you weren’t fired? Yeah, been there.
🍕 Working at Dominos Pizza was a rollercoaster of emotions, to say the least. Can anyone relate?
🍕 Made a simple mistake with a Karen order, forgot the ranch cup, and the next thing I know BAM – fired.
🍕 Boss said I wasn’t fired, then fired me the next week. Why the mixed signals, boss man? 🤔
🍕 Anyone have tips on how to handle situations like this? It’s tough to navigate for sure.
Let’s discuss and share our experiences and thoughts on how to handle unexpected job changes better in the future. 🤝💼
It sounds like he isn’t a good guy.
Ranch isn’t even vegan.
If you had filed before the deadline that weekend, that wasted week would have counted as your waiting week.
I see a lot of posts like this, low paying jobs that people get emotionally tied up and blinds them to common sense. You already had been fired by being placed on a single day per week.
To anyone working a job where the wage has competition across your entire city/town. The second your job or manager does something that negatively effects your income you look for new income and leave them high and dry the way they were screwing you.
Sounds like your boss was less a “good guy” and more a “tremendous piece of shit.”
You weren’t living off of one shift a week at domino’s. So while your boss is an asshole, you didn’t “waste” a week not applying anywhere when what you would have made that week is negligible.
> Hes a good guy, but fuck off, seriously
You just love that bootleather you’re licking?
>I could have been applying to other jobs that entire week, I wasted gas and time driving to work, I could have been doing anything else, but you wanted to tell me I’m fired in person??????
Exactly.
