What did you study a course in? How long did you try to find a job before you went back to entry level roles?
Constant worry without any actions makes things even worse. Make a plan and act on it. If you are young and healthy that’s the real wealth. Trying to research high demand jobs and work towards it
not your fault, this is what society is capable of. dead end jobs for lots of people.
No one is going to save you unless you save yourself. You need to keep moving forward, I know its hard and it sucks.
What was the course? Also have you considered any blue collared jobs? HVAC, Electrician, Plumber?
Other less talked about careers:
Post Office (USPS)
Paper Mill(if one is in your area) (Entry Level General Laborer, Machine Operator, Production Operator) – All shouldn’t require a degree and have good starting salaries $20 – 27 with upward mobility
Telecommunications (Field Service Tech)
Keep at it don’t give up and don’t stick with the waitress/cashier job, it is a dead end.
You sound depressed. I think you should talk to a professional. What makes you want to have a successful career? Are you struggling financially right now?
How can you be behind? You are the only one living your life. Are you behind someone else’s life or your own ambitions and expectations?
What did you want to do and how was the door slammed in your face?
Have you thought about talking to a therapist? Mental health is so important, and talking to a therapist (if you’re able too) can possibly help alleviate some of those stressors.
Don’t feel left behind, what you need to do is create a vision where you’d like to see yourself in five years, you don’t have to have the perfect or even close to perfect job lined up, but have something.
Like for example, what and how far can you push yourself in the direction you want? What type of job do you imagine yourself being in? Apply for jobs in that field or jobs close to that field. Lastly, work on honing your resume, even if your skills do not match the job you’re looking for, you can always stretch the truth a little on your resume to make your resume look more appealing.
Also, think of the location you want to be in, don’t want to stay where you are at or no? Then network with people in that field or location, you kind of have to play the “wannabe” character, but play it smart, so people know you mean business.
Everyone in their twenties, thirties right now is feeling the way you’re feeling. I wish I could tell you to not stress out so much about your job, however, stressing out about your job is not an easy thing to stop doing (I’ve been there, still am). Everything will work out though.
I feel the pain.
Rest. Recover. And then try again. Each try makes you stronger and wiser. Choose a path that makes more sense to you now.
You just need to succeed once. And you’ll be much better off.
Capitalism ruins everything around me,
C.R.E.A.M. get the money!

These comments ain’t it. I feel you, OP.
From what you wrote it seems like you took one single class and can’t find a job after the one class.
In order to get a worthwhile degree you need to take more than one class.
