But don’t worry, there’s always a path to a more fulfilling life out there. Here are some tips to help you find your way:
-
Identify Your Passions: Take some time to really think about what makes you happy and fulfilled. What activities make time fly by? What topics get you excited to learn more? Your passions hold the key to your true calling.
-
Explore Self-Employment Options: Since you’ve found solace in being your own boss before, why not explore ways to make self-employment sustainable? Look into freelancing, starting a small business, or pursuing a side hustle that aligns with your interests.
-
Invest in Skill Development: Consider taking courses or gaining certifications that can help you build a successful business or career around your passions. Investing in yourself is one of the best ways to secure a brighter future.
- Seek Mentorship: Don’t be afraid to reach out to professionals who have walked a similar path. Mentors can provide valuable guidance, insight, and support as you navigate your way towards a more fulfilling career.
Remember, it’s never too late to make a change and create a life that brings you joy. It may take time and effort, but the journey towards a fulfilling career is always worth it. Stay positive, stay determined, and keep moving forward towards your dreams! 💪✨
Have you worked at Zara before ?
In the same struggle here and at the same age. I personally struggle to find a job where I live and within my specific field since 4 years. At first I was thinking that I should only work in my field of study. But as I can’t find a good job in this and as I should only live in my own usual area (and because remote jobs are not the norm), I started to question myself: would I take a basic job just to survive (like something in a warehouse etc)? Now I feel like if I can find one, I should take it. Before this i could not imagine this… During the last 2 years I was an entrepreneur, and I loved it. But that’s hard to start. But not as hard as finding a job in my situation. At the moment I am aiming to get a basic job as I said before, to provide food for myself while creating more revenue for my small business. That’s the correct thing to do if you need money to live with while building your thing on the side. And please, take care of your physical and mental health while doing this. Try to find the easier job to do or the one with the best ratio between work/money/energy spent
Get into a trade? HVAC, electrcian, etc?
27f in the same position after bba MBA in India. At least you have worked. I haven’t done that much also.
Join a bakery?
I work as a freelance photographer and while I do have ‘bosses’ (or rather companies) that I work for I can pick and choose which companies I want to keep regular work with. The job is fantastic, keeps me outside all year round and I can easily get into a routine and stay relatively independent. Based on your comment about being self-employed, I’d say it’s well worth looking down this avenue again but on a basis like me where you don’t have to always motivate yourself but there’s work to be had working for people. It’s a good balance between job freedom and routine for me tbh
On the side I also work on Data Annotation projects and that’s well worth looking into if you’re needing some extra income on a more ad-hoc basis
27M here, just about the same situation, except there’s 1 particular field/job I’m so desperately trying to get back into. After years of dead-end jobs, I truly miss working for my cities parks and recreation dep.
