#WorkLife #JobFrustrations #BreakFree
Have you ever had one of those days where you just couldn’t take it anymore? 🚗 Whilst I was on my lunch break today, I decided “screw it” and got into my car and drove off. Best feeling. Ever.
The job was mind-numbing, dead-end, and my manager was called Karen. Need I say more? 🤦♀️ But hey, I took matters into my own hands and escaped for a much-needed break.
If you find yourself in a similar situation, here are some possible solutions to consider:
– Take a mental health day or personal day to recharge and reassess your priorities
– Start looking for a new job or career path that aligns with your interests and values
– Have an open and honest conversation with your manager about your concerns and frustrations
Remember, your mental health and well-being should always come first. Don’t be afraid to make a change if you’re feeling stuck or unhappy. You deserve to be in a job that brings out the best in you. 💪

Hopefully you had enough money to survive this economy while between jobs
good
Omg it’s me.
Literally 1 and 1/2 months into new, mind numbing job. My boss’ name is Karen.
Stop giving me good ideas, me.
Yes!
What I wouldn’t give….
thats hilarious. I wish you goodluck and all the best!
good on ya, mate.
I think more people should do this. I wish I could. 2 kids one in college. Im 53 and exhausted…
Congratulations 👏
My God, I wish I were you. And my boss and my job don’t even suck, objectively.
I did that when i was 19. Eight months of packing and delivering produce for small company. Hen pecked husband was driver, i was helper. 10 to 13 hour days, minimum wage. Did all the heavy work. One day bitchy boss wife walked by and mentioned I ve been slacking lately, pick up the pace. I was dumbstruck, flabbergasted, couldnt respond. Got next order loaded onto carts to be put into truck. Went for lunch, got into my old car and drove home without a word. Left all the carts sitting on loading dock, full of boxes of produce. Nobody to load truck. Fuck em.
Driving home from a job for the last time is always so good!
That drive home was peace
Hahaha one time i actually went to my work in the morning and sat in the car for 10 minutes when i got there. Drove home instead of punching in and working. Work sucks in general but i will never stick around a job im going to be miserable at!
Nice. I did this once, it worked out good.
So many people wish they could do what you just did. Mad respect!!
I have been dreaming of doing this for a while now. Good for you.
Good show! Stand up for yourself.
> and my manager was called Karen
Because she spent a lot of time talking to herself?
