It’s important to remember that you’re not alone and that there are people out there who care about you and want to support you through challenging times. In this article, we’ll be addressing the struggles you’re facing and providing you with resources and information to help you through this.
Understanding Suicidal Thoughts:
Suicidal thoughts can be triggered by a multitude of factors, such as genetic predisposition, traumatic experiences, and mental health conditions, among other things. It’s important to acknowledge that suicidal thoughts are a serious matter, and seeking help is crucial.
It’s not about denying culture or being selfish – it’s about prioritizing your mental health in order to move forward in a healthy way.
Helpful Resources:
– Suicide Prevention Hotline: There are trained professionals available 24/7 to talk to and provide support for those struggling with suicidal thoughts. They can offer resources and guidance.
– Therapy and Counseling: Speaking with a therapist can provide you with a safe space to express your thoughts and feelings. They can provide coping strategies and help work through the underlying causes of your struggles.
– Support Groups: Joining a support group can help you feel less isolated and connect with others who understand what you’re going through.
Educating Loved Ones:
It’s understandable that it can be difficult for loved ones to understand and come to terms with the idea of someone they care about having suicidal thoughts. Here are some tips for educating them on the matter:
– Communicate Your Feelings: Expressing how you feel and what you’re going through can help them understand the severity of the situation.
– Provide Resources: Sharing informative articles and resources on suicide can give them a better understanding of the topic.
– Seek Professional Help Together: Consider attending counseling or therapy sessions together to work through the challenges as a unified unit.
Overcoming Obstacles:
In your situation, it’s clear that there are obstacles to receiving the support and understanding you need. Here are some steps you can take to navigate these challenges:
– Self-Advocacy: It’s important to continue advocating for yourself and seeking the support you deserve, even in the face of resistance.
– Trusted Support System: Surround yourself with people who are understanding and supportive, even if it means reaching out to teachers, counselors, or friends for help.
– Seek Professional Help: If you’re feeling like you’re not receiving the support you need at home, it’s crucial to connect with mental health professionals who can provide the necessary guidance and support.
Remember, your mental health is important and seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. You are not alone in this, and there are resources and people ready to support you through this challenging time. Keep reaching out and seeking the help you deserve. You are valued and worthy of support.

Depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts are often not caused by any specific thing but can develop completely on there own or even be linked to genetics sometimes, so plenty of people don’t have a “reason” to be suicidal, but they still are and it’s important to keep in mind that it doesn’t make it any less valid.
And I really do hope you can be okay, and I’m sorry you to go through all this, stay strong friend.
i’m not done reading yet but black parents don’t take suicide seriously and i fucking hate that, it’s all fun and games till i give in to my thoughts…

i understand it’s difficult to grasp that it will get better cus in the moment it might not seem like it, but what you do will decide if things get better, you have the opportunity to love yourself because not every else will, i don’t expect you to immediately love yourself but i do want you to understand you have value, regardless of what people say or their actions. take your time, think about what you need to do before what u want to do, no need to be reckless in a time u can reflect
