I haven’t achieved anything I wanted. I wanted to be an actor.
I worked in a call-center while going to school for audio production. I loved all the different hold music I would hear, and I thought it’d be neat to use one of my original songs. Then a few years later at a different company, I floated a song idea and they loved it. It’s been my company’s hold music for 5+ years now.

I wanted to find ‘meaning in the void’, some kind of truth or or point to it all. Something that made all the hellish stuff have a purpose, to find that thing that actually matters against the terrifying backdrop of how insignificant we are compared to the scope of the ancient cosmos.
I did eventually find it, but not where I expected and it didn’t look like the kind of ‘nugget of pure clear wisdom’ I’d thought it would be. Best way I can explain it is that it came down to understanding why I was searching for it in the first place.
Getting a master’s degree was a huge goal of mine and I ended up getting 2.
I can now play guitar and drums.
I got to be a veterinary assistant though I wanted to be a vet doctor but that’s okay I am pursing something else now and not getting pregnant .
The only thing I achieved was becoming super skinny again, but I lost it after a few months, so yeah… absolutely nothing.
Became a doctor but the hedonic treadmill is real.
