Only if you use it on stainless. We just a heat resistant fish spatula at home. It’s thin, sturdy, and won’t scratch.

I do this all the time! I was a vegetarian for 24 years. I met and fell in love with my wife and decided i wabted to learn how to cook meat fot her. But i really didnt want to touch it. So i started usung my potato masher. Now I do eat meat (thanks pregnancy!), but i still dont like to toich it much. It also works for guacamole!
Or…. you could use those hand crank chopper bowls/ containers for chopping and/or whipping and get perfectly fine hamburger for tacos and such. I use it all the time, works perfect.
