Hello everyone! 🌟 I’ve been reflecting on something that I believe could really spark some interesting conversations here: productivity and the Ultradian Cycle. As an online-based clinical hypnotherapist, I interact with clients every day and uncover fascinating insights that often translate into better habits and practices for both my clients and myself.
For those of you who might not be familiar, the **Ultradian cycle** is an intrinsic rhythm that dictates our focus and rest throughout the day—typically cycling every 90 minutes. Since I’m always looking to enhance my effectiveness, I decided to experiment with my session lengths. Here’s what unfolded:
- ✨ I shifted from 50-minute sessions to 90-minute sessions with some of my familiar clients.
- 👀 The results were astounding! By the end of these longer sessions, clients were more introspective and receptive, displaying a deeper cognitive engagement.
- 📈 The progress reports improved significantly; clients were integrating suggestions even better than before!
But the journey didn’t stop there! I started applying this **90-minute approach** to various other aspects of my life: work projects, reading, and even during downtime. And wow, did I notice a difference:
- 🧠I found it easier to concentrate—my ADHD suddenly felt less overwhelming.
- 👌 My motivation soared, and I felt more accomplished at the end of each cycle.
- 📅 I began breaking down tasks into smaller, manageable chunks, which significantly alleviated my stress levels.
**So, here’s my challenge for you:** Try adopting this **90-minute block strategy** in your own life! Whether it’s for intense work sessions or simply enjoying your hobbies, see how partitioning your time can impact your focus and productivity. And don’t forget to throw in some rest—it’s essential! 😌
For anyone else already experimenting with their productivity cycles, I’d love to hear from you! What methods do you use? How do you structure your time? Do you integrate breaks, or have you noticed a change in your focus? Let’s share our experiences and tips! 🌼
