#JobOffer #ITTechnician #CareerJourney #SelfTaughtIT
Hey everyone! π I just got my first-ever job offer after a mountain of rejection emails! It feels amazing to share that I’ve secured an **IT Technician position** with a top 500 IT consulting company. Here’s a bit about my journey:
- π **Position**: IT Technician
- π» **Responsibilities**: Reimagining and setting up devices
- π **Current Status**: Studying for my A+ certification
- π **Education**: No college degreeβjust a lot of self-taught IT skills!
- π€ **Experience**: 10+ years in sales and customer service, which I highlighted on my resume
I want to share this to inspire anyone out there who is feeling discouragedβkeep pushing through! Your efforts will pay off. If I can do it, so can you! πͺ
I’m curious to hear from you all: Have you ever faced similar challenges in your job search? What strategies worked for you, or what did you learn along the way? Letβs chat about it and support one another! π
Nice. Mind sharing a screenshot of your resume with the personal info. removed?
Yes if you can share what you did and your resume with personal info remove that would be greatly appreciated. I was laid off in May and I havent found anything since just countless rejectionβs. I have 10 plus years of customer service and 4 years in the NOC and no one is calling me back.
Congrats, but move upward quickly. That is a thoughtless job that will burn you out.
Beats shoveling snow, or mowing lawns.
Get your certificates!
Congratulations on your success did you get it through indeed or linkedln if you donβt mind sharing
How was the interview? What kind of questions did they ask?
