Why buy 10 domain names?
Thanks for sharing this, but I would like to ask why did you buy 10 domains?
This is a major ask, but I have been looking to get into the financial services industry and this story is extremely inspiring. I’m a college student with my year coming to a close. I have a $500 budget and am looking to start a business like this over the summer. Is there any way you would be able to help/mentor? It would be unbelievably helpful if I was not figuring out everything by myself for the first time.
Appreciate the consideration
How did you go about sourcing talent in South America? Was this something you did previously at another company, and therefore knew the motion, or you had to figure that part out in the beginning?
>Next, we got creative, but nothing worked (I could put the list of crazy things we did, but it would be endless). Our budget was limited, so we bought 10 domain names and set up 20 email addresses. Finally, we downloaded a list of 10,000 potential clients from Apollo – **ONLY** accounting firms who could benefit from our services.
>Then we got our first client.**Â Â With a cost structure under $300, we landed that initial deal and started rolling. It was a $3,000/mo client, so we went from $0 to $36,000/year. Candidate’s salary was $1,500 so BOOM, $18,000 annual profit. (at that point we had a closed price model, now we charge 30% for more transparency)
Here’s a step missing. So you got 10k potential addresses. What did you do? Cold Mail, Call? What was your email, what was your call script? This I think is the really interesting part everybody is after to replicate your success.
I don’t get it. Why would anyone pay you 3k for an employee they could pay 1500 for? That just sounds like exploitation to me.
Interesting stuff. Let me know if a tool that helps you track company value and opportunities interests you. I help founders think about exit about 5 years before they usually do, so they can plan better and be better informed.
> Sell before you start. Validate your idea with pre-selling to ensure market fit.
When and how did you do it? I couldn’t find this step in your post.
Your company name wasn’t needed in the posting. You accidently on purpose self-promoted.
Could you give recommendations on SEO and how you approached that? Did you do it yourself, find a contractor?
Congrats on carving out your own swim lane.
It’s nice to have a case study, but this isnt exactly a groundbreaking lesson – most south American companies just copy asian and European companies/models like you did. Feel like a promotion / excuse to link for seo

Wow, thanks for sharing all this, interesting!
🥳
A million in revenue or profit?
Thanks for sharing and good work!
How many people did u have working for u? Did u do all of this yourself from day 1?
So you sold offshore workers, cool bro
How did you navigate being a new entrant into the industry? Did clients ask you for referrals, Case studies before giving you business?
Do you know that “**Then we got our first client.**” is the hardest part for 99% of businesses? So many tech people make apps and websites but they struggle to get clients and bring revenue in.
How did you get your clients? Did you advertise? Can you please let me know?
What exactly does SEO mean? Search engine optimization?
This is BPO an exploding industry in our region. Most companies in this sector have a presence in the countries where they operate. Apart from logistics, they do so to benefit from favourable tax laws.
I have commercial property in one of these countries. Anyone interested DM me.
The moral of the story is Don’t take out student loans to get a degree in accounting as you job will soon be offshored to the third world .
Hi Santiago! Was there many barriers to entry here? E.g. Taxation, Equipment, Contracts?
Fake…. again…. where is the proof???

A client pays you $3000 a month to hire 1 person or for as many as they need?
An insipiring story, I will feature it on my newsletter
Do you do the connection only or is the financial talent one of your employees and you relay all information through them after it goes through you?
Nice to hear such wholesome stories. Hey, if you’re looking to expand your company, you might look at Kosovo which rising in the outsourcing business. I’ve worked for 7 years in an AT&T project. Do reach out if you ever interested
Brilliant, thanks for sharing, clever strategy to niche down and position yourself to a defined target audience.Congratulations I’m sure it’s just the beginning!
I don’t understand the crucial step
1. Did you find the client without any employee contacts? So client says “ok, I want to hire an accountant through you” and then what? You go searching for an accountant on LinkedIn? How long does it take to find one? How did you interview them?
2. How did you hire and pay the accounts? Did you have a legal entity and they would work as contractors? How did you manage the payments and stuff?
Thanks for sharing! This is very inspiring
I did this same biz but I suck at marketing I guess. Had like 2 clients but it was month to month, the outsourcers were unreliable so I’d have to find new ones a few months in, and I was just never able to scale it
