#ReferralHelpNeeded: So, I met this guy on Reddit who was seeking a new job and now he has an interview lined up. I think he’d be a great fit for the position, but I’m not sure how to list him as a referral. 🤔
We chatted about his experience in my industry, and it seems like he’d excel in this role. However, we don’t have a personal relationship, so I’m stuck on what to put for “how do you know the candidate.” Would “professional networking” be appropriate?
I want to help him out without raising any red flags, but I’m unsure of the best approach. Can you guys share any tips or suggestions? Let’s brainstorm together! 💭 #HelpAFellowRedditor #ReferralDilemma

Professional network is fine as an answer. Get that referral bonus!
Never “met” a company who gives referral bonuses to random people who “refer” a complete stranger for a job. What?
Professional networking sounds good to me
