Depends on how I feel. I follow the HALT method:
– H – Hungry. Get nourishment from a satisfying and healthy meal and drink
– A – Angry or Anxious. Journal (brain dump / stream of consciousness then gratitude) and listen to music
– L – Lonely – respond to your texts and then call a friend / schedule a catch-up
– T – Tired. Get some sleep in, then go for a walk and listen to music and/or read a cosy audio book.
It kind of depends, but generally a hot shower and to drown in my favorite music

When I don’t have the energy for anything, I just quietly listen to my body and communicate with it.

That’s some questions I ask my body, and if I feel like it needs it I’ll do it. Basically I try to listen to my basic needs when I don’t feel like doing something extra.

Edit: Sometimes I try to stretch or do some yoga but if I’m really really exhausted I don’t want to move.

Baths, baths, and more baths! Throw on an audiobook, turn on the led lamp. Turn off overhead lights. Crank that suckers temperature to mildly scalding, add Epsom salts, and BAM!

I take the longest shower possible. I have a little shower speaker and a tankless hot water heater so I can be in there for an embarrassingly long time. I also spin yarn and doing that is very relaxing and meditative.
I put on some comfy clothes, dim the light, put a fun show, eat some snacks, and I don’t look at my phone.
I also cuddle with my cat.
In the morning I take a hot shower, put on my favorite perfume, put my rubber boots on and take a nature walk or go to the beach (pnw beaches are soul healing), eat food I love all day, listen to an audiobook, hop in the bath in the evening, make a cup of tea and put a record on while I snuggle in my bed.
I find a new audiobook and go for a long walk. Sometimes I just walk but other times I get inspired and pause the book, and just watch the birds a bit. Helps me reset ☺️
Also meditating or journaling is the other best me-time gifts I can give myself

I get a lot of physical pain if I’m overtired so I’ll break out the massage gun and/or heating pad and just zone out. Ive also got a set of leg massaging boots and it’s almost as good as going for a massage.
