Hey everyone! 👋 I need some advice on the best way to invest $58,000. I currently have no debt and really want to see this money grow. Any suggestions on how I can make the most out of this opportunity? Here are a few ideas I have in mind:
– Consider investing in a diversified portfolio of stocks and bonds for long-term growth 📈
– Explore real estate investments for potential passive income 💼
– Look into high-yield savings accounts or CDs for low-risk options 💰
What do you think? Any other tips or strategies I should consider? Let’s chat and help each other out! #InvestingTips #FinancialAdvice
A good answer to your question highly depends on a lot of details that you didn’t provide, like your yearly income, expenses, debts, what investments you have already in what type of accounts, where you live, how old you are, etc.
If it’s for long term, like more than 10 years, put it in total market index funds, maxing out all of your tax advantaged space first and then using a brokerage account.
1. High-yield savings account with 3-6 months of living expenses
2. 2024 Roth IRA – $7k (make sure you fit within the income limits)
3. Taxable Brokerage Account – whatever is left over. Be smart and just invest in the S&P 500 with a fund like VOO. If you want individual stock picks, limit it to 5-10% of your total investment portfolio.
Probably mostly tech if you want money long term but otherwise broad market index funds
