He hasn’t said what steps they will take to prevent this from happening again. Nor any compensation to the affected customers. Other than that, he did quickly acknowledge the issue (but seriously, does he have a choice, he can’t lie here, pretty black and white),and the fix that he mentioned, well, it’s a half ass workaround, but given the nature of the issue, they don’t really have any other choice.
Very good in a bad situation.
Takes responsibility. We have a solution. It is rolling out. Out teams are not done until our customers are back.
No, he isn’t doing the second thing, talking about cause, actions, or reimbursement. We are not there yet. He is focused on the first thing.
It has happened twice under his watch at two different companies across a long span of time. I would respectfully submit that he learned essentially nothing. The emails he sent to customers were 99-4/5% content free. The stock is dropping massively. I don’t know what miracle other people are seeing him perform. To me it looks like making an obscene fortune and leaving a mess for literally everybody else.
Will they be held responsible for financial impact caused around the world? It’s pretty likely they will get sued, right?
