#JobInterview #Feedback #CustomerSuccess #Improvement
Hey everyone,
So I recently applied for a remote customer success job at Hostinger and went through the interview process. I received some feedback that left me feeling a bit confused and I could really use some advice or insights.
Here’s the deal:
– The feedback I received after the take-home assignment was all positive. The interviewer highlighted my empathy, positive communication, and personal connection-building with the customer.
– However, in the rejection email, I was told that I focused too much on problem-solving and not enough on empathizing with the customer, adjusting communication style, and taking interest in their project.
🤔 So, what gives? How could the feedback be so contradicting within such a short span of time? Could it be a miscommunication or misunderstanding?
I’m eager to learn and improve, so any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! If you have any similar experiences or tips on how to handle conflicting feedback, please share them. Let’s help each other grow! 🌱
And if you think this post belongs in a different subreddit, please point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance!
