#SalaryComparison: Just found out potential new hire being offered a salary close to mine with less experience 🤔. Is it fair? What should I do? Feeling torn after seeing the offer letter 😬. Should I ask for a raise? 🤷♂️ #ConflictedEmployee
Hey guys! So, here’s the scoop – I work at a small branch and just found out that a new hire with less experience is being offered almost the same salary as mine. 😱 I’ve been putting in the hard work for 7 years now, and I haven’t had a raise in about 3 years. 💼
Walking by my boss’s desk and accidentally catching a glimpse of the offer letter definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. 🤢 I love my job and location, but seeing this has got me questioning things. Am I being irrational for considering asking for a raise? 🤔

BRUTAL HONEST TALK HERE..
you are experiencing what is called, WAGE COMPRESSION
it happens when you stay to long with a company and to be honest, 7 years is WAY to long.
sorry but I have to say this part because it’s important..
You did this, not your company, ,, your looking for your forever home / security etc,, you don’t get extra credit for being a long time employee
If you want better pay, keep your skills updated and change jobs, ,,
You work for one thing ,,, MONEY
Now if you want to stay with your company except what happens and move on with your life
