#LegalYetDickishBehaviors #BeingADickLegally #LegalButNotCool
Have you ever come across someone doing something that is technically legal, but still leaves you shaking your head in disbelief? We all know that there are certain behaviors that may not break any laws, but still make someone come across as a total jerk. In this article, we’ll explore some of these legal yet dickish behaviors that you might want to steer clear of.
### 1. Hogging parking spots
🚗 Picture this: You drive into a crowded parking lot, and just as you spot an empty parking space, someone swoops in and takes it before you can even blink. We’ve all probably faced this situation at some point, and it’s infuriating. Parking spots are meant to be shared, so when someone decides to hog them all to themselves, it’s not illegal, but it’s definitely not nice either.
### 2. Cutting in line
👥 Whether you’re waiting in line at the grocery store, a theme park, or any other public place, cutting in line is a definite no-no. It’s a clear violation of the unspoken rules of queuing, and it can rub people the wrong way. While there might not be any laws against cutting in line, it’s a behavior that’s universally frowned upon.
### 3. Being loud and obnoxious in public
🗣️ We’ve all encountered that one person who talks at the top of their lungs, blasts music on their phone without using headphones, or engages in other loud and disruptive behaviors in public spaces. While being loud and obnoxious might not land you in legal trouble, it can definitely make you come across as inconsiderate and rude to those around you.
### 4. Not cleaning up after your pet
🐕 As a pet owner, it’s your responsibility to clean up after your furry friend when they do their business in public spaces. Failing to do so not only creates a hygiene hazard but also shows a lack of respect for the environment and those who share it with you. While it may not be illegal to leave your pet’s waste behind, it’s definitely not a behavior that paints you in a positive light.
### 5. Taking advantage of loopholes
🔍 Some people have a knack for exploiting legal loopholes to their advantage, even if it means bending the rules or acting in a morally questionable way. While it might be technically legal to take advantage of these loopholes, it can still make you seem like a selfish and unethical person.
In conclusion, just because something is legal doesn’t automatically make it the right thing to do. We should all strive to act with kindness, consideration, and respect towards others, even in situations where the law doesn’t explicitly require us to do so. So next time you find yourself tempted to engage in a legal yet dickish behavior, remember that being a decent human being is always the better choice.
Cutting in line.
Squat in a strangers house in NYC.
Squatting is moving into a stranger’s unoccupied home without permission. By law, they must be treated as a legal tenant and be provided with electricity, water and functioning services or else they can sue. You must also go through the courts to remove them which can take years.
Talking at someone whose obviously not interested in the conversation and continuing it way too long

Turning the light out in a public bathroom while people are in the stalls
Leaving shopping carts/trolleys in the car park instesd of returning them to a trolley bay.
I have a deep seated homicidal rage for anyone who does this. Its beyond irrational, but i hope and pray that who ever does this never has kids, or propagates their bloodline.
Not returning your shopping cart
Not taking your shopping cart to the cart corral.
Farting in an elevator
Social media creators and influencers. Mainly the females that go to a gym and work out with their camera on record. Then they go home and edit the video to shame a guy that even looks in her direction calling him creepy.
Government corruption apparently
turn the turn signal on just before takin a exit on a crossway. letting the waiting cars just sit there and wait, thinking you are going to go straight untill the last second
driving really close to the car infront when there is no possible way for that car to drive faster ( if someone is sitting alone in the left lane i think its okay to “make them get away by going closer and closer” but in a two lane road when im followin the speedlimit or going above. and people still sit 6 metres behind me pisses me off massively
not putting back shopping carts or throwing trash on the ground.
not stopping for crosswalks when pedestrians are there. hmm this might actually be illegal but people are become worse and worse at doing this common decency.

Using a gas powered leaf blower all day long where others have to hear it.

People who flip houses or ‘invest’ in ‘income properties.’
You’re artificially driving the cost of housing up. Gone are the days when people could buy a fixer upper to save money because house flippers are gonna get there before you, put in some cheap tile and pain, then sell that house for tens of thousands more so that they can make a profit.
Not to mention, ‘real estate investors’ as they call themselves, are creating artificial scarcity so that there are fewer houses to buy and more houses to rent.
People who do these things aren’t creating any value. They’re only extracting it.
Cutting in line. It’s technically not against the law, but it’s a universally recognized act of disrespect to those who’ve been waiting their turn. This behavior showcases a blatant disregard for fairness and patience, earning the cutter well-deserved ire and judgment from bystanders.
