Hi everyone, I’m not usually switching positions and work places, so maybe I’m just excited and nervous, but: I had an offer letter from a multinational company, at the 20 of February, with the starting date of first of June… I replied asap to the recruiter with the signed letter and the hiring manager welcomed me in the team that day answering to my acceptance.
The Problem:
But since that I have no any information from their side… silence.. I started my notice period at my current job, and I’m getting nervous because more than a month passed, and no informations from them about the onboarding. Am I impatient, and they just waiting the starting week (8 weeks from now so…)? or something could go wrong?

This basically means their budgets for this roles are approved for 3rd quarter this year , hence june start date. This could also mean, they are planning ahead and are waiting on next steps from some other end
In general companies don’t message you after accepting the role unless they have specific information to provide you, and it’s likely too early to have solid info to give you. If you are nervous, you could send an email to HR just asking if they have everything they need from you before your start date.
But you do have a signed contract I hope?
Totally normal for silence – it’s just that your start date is further out than typical. You’re in attention-limbo because the recruiter is now focused on filling their other roles and you’re not an employee yet, so you’re not on HRs radar yet.
Most often you’ll receive a “onboarding” message somewhere between 2 weeks and 1 business day before start date with more info.
My advice is not to worry too much. If you start pestering them you’ll build a reputation of being “high maintenance” before you even start.
