Hey everyone! 🌞 Has anyone dealt with a Solar Zero system being included as a chattel on a property before?

We’re in a situation where we’re interested in buying a property with a Solar Zero system, but the vendor is including it as a chattel in the sale. We’re hesitant to take over their contract and have asked for the sale and purchase agreement to be amended.

Here are some more details:

– The current owners signed up with Solar Zero 2 years ago, so they still have 18 years left on their contract.
– The house is still under the master builder warranty from a reputable developer.

Our main concern is whether the property warranty will be voided due to the installation of the Solar Zero system. If the roof isn’t covered, how much would it cost to repair any leaks caused by removing the panels?

Any thoughts or suggestions on how to handle this situation? We’re hoping to find a solution that benefits both parties. Thanks! 🏡🔆
