#BelieveItOrNot #UnbelievableButTrue
Alright, let me spill the beans on something that I know is real, yet it seems like others just can’t wrap their heads around it! 🤔 Brace yourself, my friend, because I’ve got a mind-boggling but fascinating topic to share with you today! 🌟
Have you ever heard of the bizarre phenomenon of ball lightning? ⚡🔮 Yep, you read it right: ball lightning! This captivating and rare occurrence involves the appearance of luminous spherical objects during a thunderstorm or electrical discharge. 🌩️ Imagine lightning, but instead of a bolt streaking across the sky, you see a glowing orb hovering mid-air. Sounds like something out of a sci-fi movie, right? How cool is that! 😮🎥
Now, here’s the interesting part: while there are countless accounts of ball lightning dating back centuries, many folks find it hard to believe or dismiss it as mere illusion or hallucination. Some skeptics argue that it’s just a trick of the mind, or perhaps explainable through scientific theories such as plasma balls or ionization in the air. 💡 However, researchers have recently made significant strides in understanding this enigma, providing more evidence to support its existence. 📚🔬
Picture this: You’re sitting cozily in your living room during a severe thunderstorm, when suddenly, out of nowhere, a glowing sphere manifests itself, floating effortlessly in the air. It dances around for a few moments before vanishing into thin air. 😲 Unbelievable, right? But that’s just one of the many eyewitness accounts of ball lightning! The descriptions are remarkably consistent across diverse cultures and timeframes, supporting the idea that it’s a genuine natural phenomenon. 🌍🌐
Scientists have made some intriguing progress in explaining this elusive occurrence. One theory suggests that ball lightning could be formed by electromagnetic fields generated during a lightning strike, causing gases in the air to ionize and form a plasma-like ball. This plasma sphere may be sustained for a brief period, allowing it to float and move erratically before disintegrating. 🌪️🔆
To add to the mystery, ball lightning has been known to exhibit peculiar behaviors. Some witnesses have reported the balls passing through walls or windows, leaving no trace or damage. 😱 Additionally, there are accounts of it appearing both indoors and outdoors, rising from the ground, or even exploding with a loud bang. Talk about a shocking experience! ⚡💥
So, my dear friend, even though the existence of ball lightning may sound incredulous, there’s mounting evidence and countless fascinating stories that make it worthy of exploration and consideration. Who knows what other extraordinary phenomena may lie hidden in the mysterious corners of our world? Let’s keep our minds open to the wonders that continue to astonish and baffle even the most skeptical among us! 🌌🔍
Love and the value in it. It’s out there I promise
Mental health issues. It’s amazing to me how many people think the brain, the most complicated structure in the known universe, is the only organ that’s *not* capable of malfunctioning.
The utter meaninglessness of humans in the overall fabric of the universe.
Most Americans already pay for other people’s medical care through their health insurance policy, yet a lot seem to think that being taxed is what will cause them to pay for other people.
I have celiac disease. This one really gets me because I have every medical test under the sun to prove it. Yet I still deal with constant comments, “Why is everyone allergic to gluten all of a sudden?” “Oh it’s so trendy to not eat gluten.”
Basic Economics.
The tangible and intangible benefits of exercise.
The amount of people that don’t know narwhals are actual animals
The sensation of deja vu, whether real or not.
Facts. Sometimes you don’t know what they are, then you do. There are facts you know and others don’t. And facts others know and you don’t. That’s ok. Be willing to learn and teach.
There are facts right now that NO human knows. Someday we’ll learn what some of them are.
And even if you don’t like them, that doesn’t make then not-facts, or opinions.
Reality is what it is, whether or not you’re willing to admit it.
Sleep paralysis
Unicorns are fake but giraffes are real. Giraffes.
That a bird once flew through the open windows of my car, straight through and out the other side, while I was driving at highway speeds. I was alone in the car and I swear it happened.
My reaction, “Did that just happen?”
The Earth is round, not flat.
I have a theory that every person that has run for president really wants to implement change and stick to their campaign promises. However, when they are elected they are made aware of issues, circumstances, or arrangements that prevent them from following through.
I’m convinced there are definitely “sea monsters” out there. The ocean’s so big I’m sure there’s at least one large, undiscovered, sea creature out there.
My dog knows exactly what the fuck I’m saying, even though she pretends she doesn’t.
That much of what we “remember” isn’t real. The brain is a sieve, losing memories. It fills in holes of knowledge with assumptions, interpolations, & justifications.
The power of a large amount of people to get together to make a positive change.
Most people think you can’t change things, or even gather people together for one purpose for that matter.
But I think you could, if you **really** wanted to. Only issue is nobody is SOO motivated that they motivate others nowadays.
Even motivational speakers need motivational speakers nowadays. And it shows when we watch them. Nobody can just simply take pride in who or what they are anymore, it has all become a unending competition of “who is best”.
My potential. 😔
The dangers of dihydrogen monoxide
I’ve met several people who didn’t know that narwhals are a real animal.
Edit: So many of you! I’m honestly jealous…it’s like finding out as an adult that maybe some mythical creatures are real. Keeps the dream alive!
Prosthetic limbs that can be controlled as though they were flesh and blood.
Not that long ago, losing a limb meant being given a cheap, plastic replacement that didn’t move. Now we’re entering into the realm of Deus-Ex style bionics and augmentations. Just don’t offer them to anyone named Barry….
We have a chance to lose all electronics at one point and nobody is ready for it.
The government is not spying on you, but you are giving away way more information than the government cares about to advertisers and loyalty programs so you can save $.50 on Doritos…cool ranch of course
That nuclear energy is actually the cleanest most powerful way to power a community. People hear the word “nuclear” and freak out. They think that somehow they have a bomb sitting in their community. They think Chernobyl is the norm. In reality, there were a lot of things that led up to the Shannara both of them asked her that would not happen in any of the modern nuclear reactors that provide power to much of the world. With good regulation, safety, standards and upgrades, nuclear power is clean, plentiful, cheap, and efficient. But people get so freaked out by the word “nuclear” they assume it’s bad and they’ll put oil in the furnace instead😑
I hate to make it political but it’s so obvious that President Trump is a conman, liar, thief and just looking out for himself and it just fucken blows my mind how many Americans are oblivious to this easily found information. Even a court case which requires burden of proof will find him liable and they are so far brainwashed they can no longer believe what they see or hear with their own eyes.
Btw I’m not saying other president’s are saint either, but with Trump he’s just on another level of the con. It’s not like he’s really good at it, that’s all the work of Fox, Newsmax, Oann, infowars.
Concrete Boats. Rare, but they do exist.

The benefits of vaccines
Science.
You can’t get autism, it’s a neurodevelopment disorder, you are either born with it or you don’t have it. Vaccines can’t give you autism, Tylenol won’t give you or your baby autism, however genetics will, bang an autistic person and you will likely have autistic babies. When the baby has it, likely someone else in the family has it as well.
Climate change
Human overpopulation as a driver of climate instability and depletion.
Being unable to force myself to do something with adhd. It is like I’m physically restrained when I try to force myself to do something at times.
Science, scientific methods, scientific evidence
Unions are good for workers.
A lot of religious concepts in Christianity are more about control, and fear, opposed to self-acceptance and freedom.
That’s why they call believers, god-fearing. To me, a God that instills fear over peace, is not a “god” worth following or believing in
