Hey everyone! 🌟 So, I just received an offer for an HR administrator position at a bigger company with a higher salary and I am beyond excited! 💼 However, I can’t help but feel anxious about starting this new chapter in my career.
Here’s a little background: I’ve been working as an office administrator, taking on HR responsibilities due to my manager’s incompetence. People tend to come to me for HR-related matters, and I’ve been handling payroll, onboarding, recruiting, and more. Now, I have the opportunity to step into a full-fledged HR admin role, but the thought of not making it through the probation period is giving me major anxiety. 😰
Any tips or advice on how to navigate this transition smoothly? Here are a few things I’ve been considering:
– Communication is key: Make sure to communicate openly with your new team about your previous experiences and your eagerness to learn and grow in this role.
– Seek mentorship: Find someone within the company who can guide you and provide support as you navigate your new role.
– Stay organized: Create a roadmap of your responsibilities and goals for the probation period to ensure you stay on track and demonstrate your capabilities.
I would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions on how to overcome this anxiety and excel in my new role! Let’s support each other in our career journeys! 💪🏼 #careerdevelopment #supportnetwork
Congrats!
You’ve got this; starting a new job is always nerve racking. Just be confident in what you know and willing to learn what you don’t.
you’re over thinking it.
if you’ve done HR & took over some of your manager task at your previous job i’m very confident you can do your new job
HR Admin isn’t as complicated as other titles like HRBP(not saying it’s easy).
be confident as you were chosen for a reason.
