There’s more such debris near Earth. The biggest chance the Voyagers had to get hit by micrometeoroids was probably as they passed through the Kuiper belt, and even then it was dwindlingly small; now they’re well past it and in a region which is almost completely devoid of matter. Next up would be the Oort cloud, which we strictly speaking don’t have direct observational evidence of at all yet, but which we strongly suspect does exist; when they reach that the chance of hitting something will increase, but will still be quite low.
