#SayNoToParkingHogs π
Planning to take up two parking spots with your huge emotional support vehicle? Not on my watch. πββοΈ
It’s a familiar scenario – you finally find that elusive parking spot in a crowded lot, only to be faced with a driver who thinks their oversized vehicle deserves two spaces. But fear not, there are ways to handle this situation without succumbing to road rage. Let’s dive into some tips and tricks on how to deal with parking hogs and ensure everyone gets a fair shot at that prime parking space.
##The Encounter
Picture this – you’re cruising through a packed supermarket car park, anxiously searching for a spot to park your car. Just when you spot a cluster of available parking spaces, a massive truck decides to tailgate you in hopes of claiming two spots for itself. Sound familiar? It’s a frustrating experience, but there are ways to handle it gracefully.
###What Not to Do
– Don’t engage in a confrontation with the other driver
– Resist the urge to retaliate by leaving a passive-aggressive note on their windshield
– Avoid parking haphazardly in response, as it could escalate the situation
###How to Handle It
1. Stay calm and composed – take a deep breath before reacting
2. Assert your right to the parking space you found first
3. Park your vehicle strategically to prevent the other driver from occupying multiple spaces
4. Be prepared for potential gestures or reactions from the other driver, but maintain your cool
##The Justification
You may ask yourself, “Is it justified to prevent someone from taking up two parking spots with their oversized vehicle?” The answer lies in maintaining fairness and consideration for other drivers in the lot.
###Reasons for Taking a Stand
– Ensuring equal access to parking spaces for all drivers
– Promoting responsible parking behavior
– Preventing conflicts and tensions in the car park
###The Other Driver’s Intentions
While it may seem like a petty move to block off a parking space, consider the intentions behind the other driver’s actions. Were they planning to take up two spots without hesitation? By intervening, you may have inadvertently prevented a parking dilemma for others.
##Tips for Parking Etiquette
To foster a harmonious parking experience for everyone, here are some etiquette tips to keep in mind:
###General Guidelines
– Park within the lines of the designated parking space
– Avoid occupying multiple spots with one vehicle
– Be considerate of other drivers’ needs and limitations
###Oversized Vehicles
– Seek out designated parking spaces for large vehicles when available
– Be mindful of the space you occupy, especially in crowded lots
– Consider the impact of your parking choices on other drivers
##Conclusion
Next time you encounter a parking hog attempting to claim two spots with their oversized vehicle, remember to stand your ground while maintaining a sense of respect and civility. By upholding parking etiquette and promoting fairness in the lot, we can create a more positive and cooperative environment for all drivers.
So, the next time you’re faced with a parking dilemma, remember – say no to parking hogs and keep the roadways clear for everyone. Together, we can make parking a stress-free experience for all! π ΏοΈπ¦

Get him a nice bumper sticker “My other car is also a micropenis substitute”
I love the satisfaction of seeing someone who takes up two parking spots get what they deserve Good for you for finding a clever way to make them think twice before doing it again!
Imagine being such a miserable cunt that you could invent a whole negative scenario in your head within the time it takes to maneuver into a parking spot to justify your own shitty behavior. Well done.
Itβs a gender affirming vehicle
Well done! I hate those vehicles so much! They are far too big for our roads and parking spaces – there is a reason the Americans call them trucks. And the people who own them here donβt just park like arseholes, they drive like them too! That guy was totally planning on taking up two spaces, otherwise he would have just used one of the single spaces you left him. You performed a public service.
Brilliant
Bravo!
Fellow Aussie salutes you. Those bloody things should be banned, there is no reason at all to own one.
They shouldnβt be called utes. A ute has a car front end and is generally built on a car or wagon platform just like Holden and Ford built for decades. These are light trucks and thatβs what I call them.
I have driven trucks for years. I also know how to park in one parking spot. It is so irritating to see any vehicle taking up more than one spot. BTW I’m female so I have no need for a penis extender but do own horses so a truck is necessary.
I live in a small town in the US. These kinds of trucks are all over the place here, and they love to take as many spots as they can. Thank you so much for doing this.
I love the term emotional support vehicle. We call them +5 truck of penis compensation
Dude, donβt ever come to the states, owners of over size trucks are everywhere and they take up more room than politicians take up oxygen. And they modify the crap out of them. I donβt know if it is a thing where you are but the trucks here have over size exhaust and some rig it to do something called coal rolling, or smog or fog rolling depending on what part of the country you are in.
Good job, but what about those aholes who drive brand new cars or custom older cars and take up multiple spaces do you have them there as well?
“I’m not sure what model the truck was, but in my opinion it was way too big to be used as a daily car in the city and certainly too large to take to a crowded supermarket car park.” – jfc thank the heavens for your opinion main character #*rolls eyes*
petty revenge – *best served by parking within the lines…*
You shouldn’t be driving a pickup truck if you can’t back it into a normal parking spot
I totally know where youβre coming from with this. Iβm in NZ and itβs the same, cars get ridiculously bigger and the car parks just donβt accommodate them. And like someone else said, thereβs legitimate needs for them, from camper van or having too many kids (sorry personal opinion – more kids than a standard car fits is too many for me lol) or being a tradie, or like my Dad has his work car but has a fairly biggish Ute for alllll the stuff he does in the weekends and his boat (not as fancy as it sounds). Iβve had to borrow it to move stuff or when my car was out of commission, and a quick stop at the shops is not easy. But so many people just put them in car parks that are too small and either take up two spaces or smaller cars get parked inβ¦..thatβs happened to me before tooβ¦β¦and donβt care who else they inconvenience.
If I could learn to back a fire truck into a regular-sized parking space, people who drive giant utes can darn well learn to park in them facing forward. If they can’t handle their vehicles, maybe they should downsize.
He was parking up the wrong spot.
OP, some people need to drive a large truck for their job or their business, and not everyone can afford a second vehicle so they drive the vehicle necessary for them to earn a living.
