If you did the crime, you should do the decent thing and resign.
Resigning will be better for future employment. Getting fired at this point doesn’t make sense given the investigation.
Accept dismissal. Once you are cleared of wrongdoing engage a solicitor and file a complaint for damages against the accuser and your former employer.
