Are you in a place financially where you can afford to lose your job? If so, then I would give pushback and advise that you have been WFH for 10 years and have no interest in giving that up. Call their bluff and see if they let you go for not coming in to the office, or if they decide it’s not worth losing you by forcing the issue.
And then continue to look for another fully remote role, and when you give notice at this job You can let them know that it’s not just due to remote work, but also due to the fact that your job duties have changed from what you were hired to do and you have no interest in continuing to work as your boss’s admin.
