Hey friends, have you ever been at a crossroads where you had to choose between your mental health and other important aspects of your life? 🤔 I came across a post from a 25F who is considering quitting her job and potentially ending her relationship to prioritize her mental well-being. It got me thinking and I wanted to spark a discussion around this topic.
Here are a few questions to get the conversation going:
– Have you ever made the tough decision to leave a good job for the sake of your mental health?
– What about ending a great relationship to focus on yourself?
– How did it turn out for you? Do you have any regrets or are you better off now?
Personally, I believe that our mental health should always come first, even if it means making some difficult choices. Here are some possible solutions that might help in situations like this:
– Consider seeking professional help from a therapist or counselor to work through your feelings and explore all your options.
– Take some time for self-care and reflect on what truly makes you happy and fulfilled.
– Reach out to trusted friends or family members for support and guidance.
I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences on this topic! Feel free to share your stories and offer any advice or words of wisdom to those who might be going through something similar. Let’s support each other in our journey towards better mental health. 💖 #SupportEachOther #HealthyChoices
Life is hard and every choice you make to prioritize comfort will bite you.
Eh, I quit my job and took 3 months off. It didn’t really do much for me and the anxiety came back shortly after I took a new position.
I suggest you see a doctor. A low dose anxiety medication made work much more bearable (and profitable!) for me.
If you’re missing home, you should try and get some vacation time to go back home. Maybe bring your partner with you as well if the schedules line up well enough. I think you really need to go home and be around your support structures for a bit.
