Are you facing a challenging time in your marriage and considering divorce but have been advised to fabricate abuse claims against your partner by your lawyer? This unethical and harmful advice can have devastating consequences for all parties involved. It is essential to address this issue and take action against such misconduct to ensure justice is served and prevent further harm to individuals in similar situations.
## The Shocking Reality
I have been in your shoes, contemplating the difficult decision of ending a marriage while facing pressure from my lawyer to manufacture false abuse allegations against my spouse. It is a distressing situation to be in, especially when you know deep down that there is absolutely no abuse happening in your relationship. The emotional turmoil and ethical dilemma can leave you feeling lost and conflicted about what steps to take next.
## Reporting Unethical Behavior
### 1. Contact the Bar Association
The first step in addressing this issue is to report your lawyer’s unethical behavior to the local bar association. They have the authority to investigate complaints of misconduct and take appropriate disciplinary actions against the lawyer. Provide detailed information about the incident and any evidence you may have to support your claim.
### 2. Seek Legal Support
Consider consulting with a new lawyer who specializes in ethical violations and legal malpractice. They can guide you on the best course of action to take against your previous lawyer and help you navigate the process of reporting her misconduct effectively.
### 3. Support Other Victims
If you suspect that your lawyer has advised other clients to fabricate abuse claims, consider reaching out to them and offering your support. You can connect with them and share your experiences to help them come forward and seek justice for the harm caused by your lawyer’s unethical behavior.
## Moving Forward
It is crucial to take a stand against such unethical behavior to protect the integrity of the legal profession and ensure justice for all individuals involved in divorce proceedings. By reporting your lawyer’s misconduct, you can prevent further harm to innocent individuals and hold her accountable for her actions.
Remember, you are not alone in this journey. Seek support from friends, family, or support groups to navigate through this challenging time and seek the justice and closure you deserve. Stand up for what is right and make sure that the legal system works to protect the rights of all individuals involved.

Do you have this in writing? If yes try to report her to the State Bar of California. This definitely seems like an ethics violation to me. https://www.calbar.ca.gov/Attorneys/Conduct-Discipline/Ethics
I wouldn’t do anything just yet without the advice of a new attorney. Reporting this lawyer is going to potentially break attorney-client privilege while you’re in current litigation.
As others have said, CA Bar report online, but you can also call the police. This sounds like a conspiracy to make false reports and/or perjury. If police won’t do anything contact your local prosecutor’s office.
It’s totally unacceptable for any lawyer to do this. PLEASE don’t give up reporting her.
Do a bar complaint.
Report to the state bar. Doubtful you’ll get her to put anything in writing to that effect
At this point it sounds like it will be hard to prove bc it’s your word against hers, if nothing is in writing. She can say it’s bc she didn’t want to represent you, after all she is a lawyer and can twist it. Good luck.
If you don’t mind me asking, are you in the financial position to acquire a new lawyer?
