Hey everyone! 🌟 Need your input on a big decision I’m facing. Currently working as a remote technical recruiter but feeling stuck with no growth opportunities. 🏝️ Now, I have a new job offer for an onsite HR generalist role with promises of growth and upward mobility. 🌱 Here are the details:
Pros of the new job:
– Manager is supportive and mentions growth opportunities 📈
– Chance to pivot to a more HR-focused role which I’ve been wanting
– Higher salary and more PTO
Cons:
– Onsite work 3 days a week, 45 mins away
– Will have to adjust from remote work routine
What should I do? Do I stick to my remote job or take the leap for a chance to grow in an HR generalist role? 🤔 Your thoughts are much appreciated! 🙏💼
Personally, I think taking the new job could open up new opportunities for career growth and development in HR, but it’s essential to weigh the pros and cons based on your individual circumstances.
I’d take it, varied experience is good. But I also already commute 40 minutes 5 days a week and know I would hate remote, lol
