If you’re not aware, Glassdoor now either force you to enter your real name or scraped your name and defaulted into your account. Your real name is attached now WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT. This is NOT something you are able to change or remove short of removing the account. The only option they put is simply DEACTIVATE ACCOUNT. We live in a world of not “if” but “when” data will be breached. We should not leave it up to chance if this comes back to haunt you in a professional way. This would be a major lawsuit if it ever happened
Glassdoor is a massive conflict of interest in just about every direction. It’s like their business model is to annoy the fuck out of everyone and make everything difficult. Gonna be a Yelp pay-to-play soon enough, if not already.
Luckily I routed mine to my spam email and used a fake dummy name. They can display it but they will look silly
Deactivating your account isn’t an option in the link you provided. However there is delete account if that’s what you meant instead.
