Have you ever been shocked by an electric fence? Oh, the joys of rural living! 😂 If you’ve ever found yourself in a similar situation to the one I experienced with my brother, you know how frustrating and amusing it can be at the same time. Let me share with you the story of how my attempt to fix a broken electric fence turned into a hilarious lesson for my sibling.
## The Electric Fence Dilemma
As mentioned earlier, the deer in our area loved to break the top wire of our electric fence, especially during the winter months. This meant that every morning before school, my brother and I had to venture out to the pasture to fix the fence so our horses could safely roam. Little did I know that these routine chores would lead to some shocking encounters (pun intended)!
– Wintertime routine: fixing the broken electric fence before school
– The thrill of the deer breaking the top wire in the pasture
– Unplugging the fencer and dragging supplies uphill to splice the fence
– The inevitable ZAP that awaited me every time I connected the wires
## Sibling Shenanigans
Despite my repeated attempts to explain to my brother the importance of not plugging in the fencer without my supervision, he continued to disregard my warnings. This led to a series of comical yet painful encounters with the electric fence that left me feeling frustrated and amused at the same time.
– My brother’s “helpful” gesture of plugging in the fencer without my knowledge
– The never-ending cycle of ZAPs and failed attempts to reason with my sibling
– The breaking point: my brother’s involvement in a truck tune-up project
– Turning the tables: my mischievous act of “helping” with the tune-up process
## The Lesson Learned
After successfully sabotaging my brother’s attempt at the truck tune-up by removing all the spark plug wires, he finally understood the importance of listening to my instructions and not meddling with the electric fence. Despite his initial frustration and confusion, the experience taught him a valuable lesson in cooperation and communication.
– The aftermath of the truck tune-up debacle: a valuable lesson learned
– The two-hour ordeal of figuring out the firing order without Google’s help
– The silver lining: my brother’s newfound respect for boundaries and teamwork
– A funny yet educational experience that brought us closer as siblings
In conclusion, the seemingly mundane task of fixing an electric fence turned into a memorable and entertaining lesson for my brother and me. The importance of communication, cooperation, and respecting boundaries was underscored through a series of humorous mishaps and mischievous acts. So, the next time you find yourself faced with a similar situation, remember to approach it with a sense of humor and an open mind. Who knows, you might just turn a frustrating 30-minute job into a hilarious 2-hour adventure! 😄

Best part? My husband said the firing order is on top on the intake manifold, dead center. Raised letters on the metal, cast into it. Says “Firing order 1 8 4 3 6 5 7 2” so the next time he annoys you…feel free to point this out.
You should’ve helped by cranking it over when he’s holding one of the plugs😵
Nicely done 👍
This is why we have regulations around LOTO, people doing the same thing as your brother in an industrial or construction setting, and getting people killed
And I said oooh girl… shock me with the electric fence 🎶
