Well finally got a job and I start this week, holy shit… 🎉
– After countless job searches and two interviews, I finally landed a job that I accepted. It’s been a long journey, but I’m excited for this new chapter in my life.
– Starting this job means more than just a paycheck for me. It means independence from my toxic family and the chance to build a life for myself.
– With my own income, I can finally do things on my own terms. I want to explore the world and create new memories without the weight of my past holding me back.
– I’ve faced challenges with my mental health and past trauma, but setting goals for the future gives me hope and motivation.
– Yes, the job market needs improvement to support people in similar situations. It’s important to advocate for change and create better opportunities for everyone.
If you’re in a similar situation, remember that you’re not alone. Seek support, set goals, and keep pushing forward. Together, we can overcome obstacles and create a brighter future. 🌟 #Motivation #Support #PositiveChange
Congrats on the new job, don’t get overwhelmed (ask lots of questions). I’ve found you can get depressed in a different way at a job, than you do being unemployed, but it’s usually better & you can learn lots of new skills. Good luck 🤞
Congrats to you! Especially in this job market. Wishing you the best!
Congratulations. Sounds like you have some good plans. Good luck.
Been here! Good job. Go to therapy. Look up CPTSD. All to learn healthy comping mechanism, work through your trauma so you don’t end up back in a shit hole with them. Don’t forget to save and invest. Keep going and doing the damn thing. You GOT this!
Congrats brother!
Congrats!
Congratulations!
If you haven’t already, please set up your own bank account at an entirely different bank from your family. Create a budget. Apply for housing. Once you move in, buy your cleaning supplies at the Dollar Store. Heck, buy your dishes at the Dollar Store. Go to the zoo!! Check their website to see if they have any discount days. Splurge on a good mattress and nice sheets.
Oh, and as another poster said, therapy. Check to see if you qualify for your state’s medicaid program.
I apologize for the unsolicited advice. This internet stranger is very happy for you and the positive steps you’re taking to live your life.
