Hey there,
I know making a career change after 40 can feel daunting, but you’re not alone in feeling this way. 🌟 Here are a few suggestions that might help you navigate this transition and find a new path that fits your skills and interests:
– Consider leveraging your experience in Social Media/Digital Marketing. Getting certifications and starting at an entry level could be a great way to transition into a new field.
– Don’t be afraid to explore opportunities in more traditional sectors like sales, education, or government. Your experience and skills could be valuable assets in these areas.
– Network with professionals in industries you’re interested in. They might offer valuable insights and advice on how to break into a new field.
– Update your portfolio to reflect your new career direction. Highlight any transferable skills that could be applicable to your chosen path.
Remember, it’s never too late to make a change and pursue a career that fulfills you. You’ve got this! 💪🏼 Feel free to share your thoughts and experiences, and let’s support each other on this journey. 🌟
I have no specific career advice for you, but I just want to wish you all the best for your future. Don’t lose faith. There will be bright days waiting for you out there.
Wishing you solidarity. Sounds like you’re coveting alot of potential routes already. A broader marketing role outside of games could give you a new start.
Have you thought about teaching art? Either through school or setting up your own online tutorials?
If I had your skills, I’d be a tattoo artist. You may have to learn the medium but you can start a business relatively cheaply, easily network, and if you do good, you can make a ton of money.
You sound like someone very ready to transition into TEACHING! Be an art teacher! Enjoy your steady pay and summer vacay. You’re welcome in advance~!
