WorkEnvironment #HRstruggles #BadManagement
Hey everyone! 👋 Have you ever found yourself in a toxic work environment where it feels like HR is expected to fix everything? I totally get it, it can be tough to navigate through all the negativity. Here’s how I deal with it, and I’d love to hear your thoughts too:
- Practice Self-Care: It’s important to take care of yourself first before trying to fix everything else.
- Establish Boundaries: Don’t feel like you have to take on all the responsibility. It’s okay to set boundaries.
- Seek Support: Talk to a mentor, a colleague, or even a therapist to help you navigate the challenging work environment.
- Address the Issues: Try to address the issues in a constructive way, whether it’s through one-on-one discussions or team meetings.
What do you think? How do you deal with a bad work environment? Let’s share our tips and support each other! 💪 #SupportiveWorkplace #PositiveChange
you leave and find another job. change has to start from the top, HR can’t “fix” everything – especially when the issues stem from management that’s immune to any reprimanding or termination.
I have these same feelings. The only thing that helped me was medication and therapy 🙃
This is generic. Ima need more info
Gotta be from the top. Onto round 8 of layoffs since the CEO resigned in March. I KNOW my time is gonna come at some point. We have to layoff to make payroll. It’s crazy. Finding a new place is really the only way. Yes the market is insane. You gotta try. Meds and therapy help heaps to tie you over and if needed can be a card for disability leave if it gets bad enough.
The only time i was able to improve the work environment, the CEO led the charge.
Otherwise, focus on the job you are tasked to do and take pride in your accomplishments. Its not healthy to focus on aspects that are out of our control.
You leave. If management is lousy there is nothing you can do to fix it. It sucks.
