Legit in this job market. Low stress. That pay. Stay there! Trust me. I have been in Marketing since 2006 fully remote. A Masters in Marketing degree I got in 2021. I was laid off Feb. given 6 weeks of supplemental UE and haven’t found a job since. Over 2000 applications. My resume looks good (I know as I write resumes for other people as I have a small VA business) but I need a w2. Can’t find one. It’s hard now days!!! If you are happy there. Stay.
Supply chain management
Second vote for logistics or other “operations” functions. Mid size companies that do any kind of manufacturing and/or logistics (I worked for a big tech company that has teams for this) love people like what you’ve described in supply chain and sales ops.
Sounds like you like your job and that sounds like a pretty good gig (customers are happy with you, you’re giving them free samples) so I would be selective. You have a job, so it’s not like you’re desperate.
If the company isn’t giving you any opportunities could you talk to your vendors. I assume they know you well and you likely have a good relationship with them and they know the kind of job you do (I also assume you have metrics you can point to of increased sales of their product due to your efforts).
Maybe they have something for you. Obviously, you have to be pretty selective in who you talk to as you don’t want it getting back to the store you’re looking, but this could be an option…
Amazon
Project manager in a domain that will give you points for your experience.
You would need to close the project management gap, but it will be easy for you. You’re doing most of it and will just need to know the formal names.
Other retail jobs with your experience will pay 80k+ as general manager
