#BirthdayTiming #CelebrationPreferences #BirthdayWishes #SpecialDay
Hey there! 🎉 When it comes to birthday timing, everyone has their own unique preference and sentiment attached to it. Some people love celebrating their birthdays right on the day itself, while others may prefer a weekend celebration or even a belated party. Let’s dive into the different ways people like their birthday timing and what factors can contribute to making it truly special for them.
Timing Preferences:
1.
Celebrating on the Day:
For many, celebrating their birthday on the actual day holds special significance and adds an extra touch of excitement. It’s like having a personal holiday just for you!
2.
Weekend Celebration:
Having your birthday fall on a weekend allows for more time to relax, enjoy with friends and family, and make the celebration last longer.
3.
Belated Party:
Some people actually prefer celebrating their birthday after the actual date. It creates anticipation, extends the celebration, and may even allow for better availability of loved ones.
Factors to Consider:
– Your Work Schedule: Depending on your work commitments, you may prefer celebrating on a weekend or perhaps taking a day off for your special day.
– Availability of Friends and Family: Consider when your loved ones are available to join in the celebration to make it more memorable.
– Personal Preference: Ultimately, it’s important to choose a timing that makes YOU happiest and most comfortable.
Remember, the beauty of birthdays is that they’re truly yours to celebrate in any way you like! 🎂 So, whether you like it on the day, the weekend, or even a bit later, make sure it’s a celebration that brings you joy and cherished memories. Enjoy your special day, no matter when it falls on the calendar! 🎈🎁
Hate mine. Between Xmas and new years. Do not recommend.
Any birthday around a holiday can be either great or terrible. One of my siblings has a birthday 3 days from Xmas and they always got burned with birthday/xmas gifts made to be the same thing.
no holidays surrounding my birthday so i’m okay with it
I don’t mind mine since it’s the middle of July. So I like it since it’s during summer. The only thing about it that sucks is that people never decorated my locker during high school since my birthday was always during summer break.
My coworker’s Bday is on September 11. she hates it.
I love mine. Every year growing up, my birthday and my brother’s marked the first or second day of our family summer trip so the whole week was about us. As an adult, I still like it even if it is a bit soured (my twin passed away when we were teens). If I want to do anything, most of my family is free to travel.
Mine is Feb 8th! I love it! In NZ it’s summer but post Christmas and New Years activities. Still cruisy though! Some years school hadn’t started yet and other years it had. So I could have a fun day at school with friends in high school – someone would bake a cake and it was still a cruisy time of year in terms of study. Or it would be the end of the holidays and we’d be on holiday in Auckland or Queenstown, etc. highly recommend! Or a similar time of year in the northern hemisphere. Maybe July or whenever school is normally out for summer break
First day of fall, love it 🙂
Mine is perfectly a month after my hubbys :’) very cute, I like overromanticizing it as a joke HAHA
I love mine (early June). Weather is (usually) decent, and it’s far enough from xmas to not get lumped in.
I do not like mine because it’s on Christmas Eve. I don’t even care about the fact that birthday and christmas presents got combined. That never even bothered me. It’s just the fact that whenever I tell someone my birthday is December 24th, they say “Ooooh Christmas baby! Jesus’ miracle!” or some variation of that. I’m not Catholic or Christian, so it’s just a non-meaningful comment and I just don’t really like the Christian connotation my birthday carries.
But, I was 48 minutes shy of being born on Christmas day, and I’m kind of glad I decided to make my debut before Christmas, because being a Christmas baby would’ve been worse in that regard.
I was also always sad that I could never have a birthday party in school because my birthday never fell on a school day since it was always a part of winter break.
I’m not sure what the best birthday would be. I guess just any day that isn’t shared with a holiday.
Mine is in November before Thanksgiving. Fall is my favorite time of year so I like it. And I always get to see family around that time too
Mine is mid September. I think it’s the one of the best, it has only rained two times on the day for my entire life. It’s almost always one of the last nice days of the year, and I always go to the patio for drinks! I also love being a Virgo!
I think the worst time is anyone who has a birthday by Christmas and new years! I think the best birthday would be in October!
Mines at the end of June. Its the perfect time to have a birthday. Always during summer vacation. Theme parks and “fun spots” always stayed open late and had multiple events to attend. Halfway to Christmas. Not too hot just yet, but warm enough to spend a proper day outside. I love my birthday timing.
Sometimes it’s on tax day. Sometimes it’s on
Passover and I can’t eat cake. The anniversary of my dad’s death is also within a week of my birthday (I’m fine it was a long time ago). Soooo don’t love it.
I would say being born on Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving and Easter would probably be the worst to be born unless your family doesn’t celebrate those holidays.
My birthday is at the end of July and I think it’s perfect. I wouldn’t want to be born on any other day. I’ve always loved that it’s in the middle of summer (lots of great birthday parties on beaches and at water parks, with no school to interfere!) and that it’s so far away from other holidays. The spacing between my birthday and Christmas meant I received gifts every half a year or so, which I thought was a spectacular perk as a child. 😂
Mine’s in July. No other holidays around but growing up it was always summer vacation so missed out on chances to celebrate it with classmates and friends. Nevertheless had a blast, because that would mean cousins would come around and we would have a party of our own!
LOVE! April 13th baby, best day in the world
Mine is the only correct birthday and everyone else’s is just wrong.
Mine is November 10th. It’s in the fall and that’s my favorite season so that’s great. And it’s the day before a holiday so (as a teacher) I always have the day off after my birthday
Love mine. Mid August. Coincides with summer vacays. Big Leo energy. Sunshine & mai tais.
Mine is great, it’s not around any major holidays and only one person that i’ve ever known has had a birthday within 2 weeks of mine ☺️
Mine is in the middle of the year in the middle of the month. It’s stressful and always reminds me how short life and the calender year is. I’m grateful to be alive and experience an interesting birth date haha
Mines on a really cute holiday, Valentine’s Day, so I love it 🖤
Peak Cherry Blossom season and mild weather- its perfect.
as a preggo mama who is due at the end of this month, i’ve really appreciated the timing of my pregnancy. i got pregnant at the end of summer in late august and didn’t have to go through being in the third trimester during the summer months. don’t know how women do that!! lol. and i love an april birthday for my baby girl.
personally my birthday is august 17th and i don’t hate it, but i don’t love it either. it was always right when school was starting and i was the youngest in my class growing up. and it was always SO hot.
My birthday is near a major family-centric holiday. I like that I always have the day off (not everyone has that day off, of course, but I do), but I dislike that it’s near a family-centric holiday, because my friends are usually out of town and/or busy doing family stuff. Since I don’t have a partner or kids, and since I have a complicated relationship with my family of origin, this makes it a lonely time of year to have a birthday. Ideally I would like to travel for my birthday, but it’s kind of a pain to travel at this time of year since so many other people are traveling at that time, and a lot of places I’d like to travel to are very cold during my birthday.
If I could choose a birthday, I think I’d choose June 19th. Now that it’s a federal holiday, I have the day off work, and when I was growing up I’d have had the day off school. But it’s a holiday that my friends don’t do anything to celebrate, so they would likely be available to spend the day with me. And it would be nice weather.
Didn’t love it as a kid. I was born thanksgiving day, so it falls on or around that day every year. When I was a kid I would have a party and no one would come bc they were out of town. As an adult I like it bc of food. My kids’ birthdays are perfect. Born during summer, my favorite season. If I had a choice, I’d have a summer birthday too.
