chatgpt and openai’s api assistants. hands down
Other than the obvious tools like ChatGPT, I’ll mention a couple lesser known ones that are super useful for anyone running Facebook ads (since that’s my day job).
First [this tool](https://admkr.co/) for making awesome ads – saves me a lot of time when making client ads. And [this tool](https://motionapp.com/) for Facebook analytics – to understand how my creatives are performing.
Other honorable mentions are [n8n](https://n8n.io/) for automation (more powerful than Make or Zapier). And recently started using the [Brave](https://brave.com/) browser – seems to be faster than Chrome on a lot of data intensive web apps.
currently the oly thing coming to my mind is all these ai assistants.
For me it’s AI based softwares

But trac is the basis of everything I do. A business is a set of processes that, when repeated over and over, generate value. Running a business means two things: identifying what these tasks are, and executing them.
I use the trac wiki to document my processes as lists of steps, and I use trac tickets to monitor the progress of instances of these processes.
I do this for everything from requirements analysis and product development to testing, accounting, marketing, keeping track of customer requests, financials, and everything else related to the business.
My tasks on Google calendar are links to trac tickets that represent time critical things. To give an example, every Friday I check system logs for errors and ensure that backups work. I click on the links in the reminder and I go to the wiki that describes how to do this. If I identify a problem, I open a defect ticket, set parameters such as the priority of the task, what component it’s about, and any relevant info. Another example. If I start a marketing campaign, I open a ticket for it, keeping track of all the creatives, parameters, etc. I then set a reminder to check on it after a while. The reminder is a link to the ticket.
I also use a trac plug-in that helps you set dependencies between tasks, so I know when a task blocks another task.
You can then use trac reports to drill down to tasks by component, priority, type, keywords, etc. This way you always know what to work on next. You get a bird’s eye view of tasks that need to be done, from the most high level to the most menial.
The end goal is to not rely on your memory for stuff. When you do it right, it feels like a superpower, because you can do so much more if you don’t try to remember any stuff.
I work alone, but if you have a team, you can assign tasks to people.
