I would go out for sushi in Tokyo with my closest friends.
A nice juicy shawarma off the streets of Lebanon with my family and friends!
Seafood Risotto, in my favourite restaurant by the sea in Tenerife with my partner.
A big bowl of authentic ramen, in my old apartment, with my ex.
A gourmet cheeseburger cooked rare or medium rare. It just sounds really good right now for some reason. And I would have it with my boyfriend at a restaurant that overlooks a lake. π₯°
I once had soupless ramen in a small restaurant in Tokyo. It was the tastiest thing I ever ate. I would love to go back there with a friend.
Japanese steakhouse with my grandma who died in 1988. Apparently, she looooooved them and my mom shared this with me when my kid dragged us out for Japanese steakhouse recently.
νμ μ at my favourite place in Seoul with my friends.
Dinner with my best friend and my husband at Applebeeβs in Atlanta. My best friend died of cancer 14 years ago. When we lived together in Atlanta, Applebeeβs was our spot. She, my husband, and myself all went to middle school together. My husband and I started dating a couple months before she died. My last conversation with her was me telling her all about our first date. I remember she said βinvite me to the wedding so I can roast him like I used to in middle school!β We got married 6 years later. I wish she couldβve been there.
A Philly cheesesteak with my ride or die, my daughter in Philadelphia, where I grew up.
Somewhere on the Hawaiian Islands, different seafood with children and parents
Bhagali polo (Persian dill rice with fava beans) with my father, who died when I was too little to remember him.
Oof, it’s a toss up between just going to a cheese shop in France. A variety of cheese, a couple baguettes, and wine. Or full dinner at Ryokan in Japan. With the abalone you cook on the little thing at the table. With my husband and best friends.
My party girl days are (mostly) behind me, but I loved the spots in Chinatown weβd go to after a long night out dancing/mischief making. And fresh ceviche served on the beach of a little South American surfing village I visited. π€
Just some deserts w my sister or girlfriends!
I would have daube with my family, including my grandparents who have passed and my brother and sister who live on other sides of America
I would have my closest friends and best wife
Shawarma with my 2 kids and my SO
With my boyfriend in New Orleans, I love it there and canβt wait to go back together. We went once a few years ago and had dinner on a live jazz music boat. It was amazing
I’m having a vegan Burger from Vincent Vegan, a side of fries Strawberries for desert at the beach in WeiΓenhΓ€user Strand and I’m summoning Jesus Christ for a serious conversation about his dads’ work
When we were on our honeymoon on Galveston Island my husband and I found some little hole in the wall place by accident and had the best fried oysters with remoulade Iβve ever tasted. I never have figured out exactly where it was again but it didnβt seem much like a tourist spot (lots of regular looking people in their work clothes picking it up to go etc.). Iβd love to go back but I wonder if it would even be the same and how much was the fact we were just married and feeling romantic about everything lol.
I’d take my whole (western European) family to Siberia (where I grew up), have a hike through the wild nature with them and then arrive to a campsite, where we’d be greeted by potatoes baked in the campfire and some shashlyk with lots of onions and other vegs. For me, eating outdoors after a physical challenge is something that I can’t top with anything. It’s better than any kind of Michelin restaurant. I guess it comes engrained from my childhood.
Korean bbq on a boat sailing up the Amazon with Stephen Fry
My grandpa’s chicken, peppers, and yellow rice. Sitting at his kitchen table like he always made us do, phones down and TV off. ππ
My husband and I are going to Rome, to eat at Lucianoβs, getting some fire carbonara.
Surf and turf with my wifeβs spinach soup.
The giant platter at OR2K in Kathmandu (Nepal). Falafel, hummus, baba ghanoush, pita, all the good stuff. Itβs not even a local cuisine I just ate there in 2010 and continue to dream of going back lol.
With my husband in maybe somewhere in exploring another country.
Recently, Iβve been really missing the friends I made in Japan when I lived there. I think Iβd want to go back to the same sushi place we used to go to every week before volleyball and just have dinner with them all again.
A perfectly crafted pile of haggis, neeps, and tatties at Makar’s Mash Bar in Edinburgh with my love. I got to experience it with him last fall and it was heaven. Would love to go back with him to eat it again.
Iβd have what i want for dinner every night of my life, a burrito with a mango Jarrito in bed with an episode of Bobβs Burgers playing.
Iβm a simple person. I donβt need a lot to be happy.
Dinner with my Nan, I don’t care what or where. Just me and her spending time together talking like we used to do.
It’s been 17 years but I’d give anything to have 1 more catch up
French toast with my husband at home while we watch an episode of Archer. I might wish for something more grand tomorrow, but tonight I’m right where I wanna be.
Iβd go to Cafe βt Hemeltje in Bloemendaal just outside of Amsterdam and have chicken satΓ© with my immediate family. I traveled with my mom last spring and that was one of the top three meals we had during a 3 week trip.
I want dinner at a buffet I saw on best ever food review that was in a hotel with my husband and family (mother and siblings) and the voice actors of juri from street fighters and sesshomaru from inuyasha.
(Me and my husband have crazy crushes on these 2 LOL)
