What exactly needs to be updated and how would an outsider know? You could hire a project manager from a temp agency or upwork or something to get with all the SME’s, get the changes, and pretty it up. There are lots of free secure ways to host the data where your company can control the access. Google docs is free.
Just pay the couple hundred bucks to have an attorney review it once you update it. Knowing which policies NEED to be changed, which ones might not be enforceable, and which ones might have some risk is vital for not having problems down the road.
If it’s just updating the formatting, hire an office temp from an agency for a week or two.
I mean… how big of a document are we talking about here?
I’m struggling to understand the need for this. Either the document and company size is small enough that someone can just suck it up for a couple days and update it or the document/company is huge enough that doing it through a third party that has to ask follow up questions is going to more work than just doing it yourself.
