An important message for all those that want to be an entrepreneur. It takes a LOT of sacrifice, sometimes in your prime years of earning potential. I wish you luck.
Awesome to hear you’ve found a taste of success. Sounds like 2024 is the year!
How’d you recruit your cofounders originally? Where did you meet them? Finding like minded and capable/complimentary cofounders is something I’ve struggled with.
Cheers!
Opportunity cost goes both ways – not just for the money not earned but also the risks not taken, when you can take them. Time is not money as they say, time is bigger than money. So spending your time in taking risk over making money may “pay off” in more ways than one. Or not, or less or less than you anticipated. Enterpreneur ship is hard, in more ways than I could think of, and I have come to acknowledge that.
The sweet spot imo is always – find a well paid job that you can coast and build something alongside it (whilst getting paid to do so)
Now that is obviously difficult to achieve, but is achievable (more so by those with an entrepreneurial mindset who will generally rise to the top within a company – meaning this audience)
Yes you can’t build and scale as quick, but you also have an income to buy a house etc
Opportunity cost i guess.
